Overview
The Mgr Supply Chain Inventory Planning (MIP) will function at the Novant Health (NH) system level to oversee, coordinate and consult upon the activities of Novant Health supply chain inventories. They will work to develop and implement stocking optimization models to minimize cost and inventory while delivering on the Novant Health service standards. The MIP will work with both internal (operations, strategic sourcing, pharmacy, clinical engagement, A/P, etc.) and external partners to maximize relationships and utilize the best possible process to ensure patient safety, quality, cost and outcomes.
The MIP in partnership with supply chain analytics department are accountable for measuring and implementing corrective plans to manage inventory levels, fill rates, forecasting, obsolescence and shrinkage. Also, the MIP will work with strategic partners on freight cost awareness and savings opportunities.
The daily functions of the MIP will be overseeing the Novant Health Logistics center inventory team. The MIP will also assist in the development and deployment of perpetual inventory processes across the NH system procedural / OR areas including functions of inventory audit, barcode scanning and financial reconciliation.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree, required. Master's degree, preferred.
Experience: Minimum three years of leadership experience in supply chain, and Minimum five years working with inventory processes, required.
Additional Skills/Requirements required: Experience with inventory control techniques: Perpetual, general store, ABC evaluation, min/max, sequencing, slotting, cycle count, FIFO.
Additional Skills/Requirements preferred: Lean methodology or Six Sigma experience preferred.
Experience with software tools: Infor/Lawson software suite, Ariba, EPIC.
