The Supply Chain Engineering Manager is a senior position within the Supply Chain organization. You will be supporting the planning and execution systems powering Micron's multi-billion-dollar semiconductor supply chain. This position leads our "internal consulting" team of Industrial Engineers tasked with leveraging technology, advanced modeling and process innovations to improve Micron's end-to-end supply chain. This team is on the front line, tackling the latest business challenges, framing solution options and ultimately partnering closely with IT teams for implementation and realization. In this leadership-by-example position, you will be expected to get into the details with your team, prioritize a portfolio of work activities, make timely decisions on solution details while also working closely with senior management to help define the broader strategy. You have a deep understanding of supply chain best practices and the intellectual horsepower to adapt them to Micron unique needs. This role requires you to gain a deep understanding of the Micron supply chain solutions landscape, apply systems thinking to preempt unwanted consequences and identify the quick wins. You posses the command skills needed to socialize these solutions throughout the supply chain organization and get leadership consensus. You are action oriented and able to make steady progress by continuously smashing obstacles. You are able to orchestrate implementation of system capabilities and provide the leadership necessary to see solutions through to delivery. Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary internal consultant and inspiring leader within Supply Chain on SAP APO capabilities and operations planning standard methodologies.

  • Provide expert architectural, functional and process guidance on approach and capabilities

  • Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing & Planning leadership to understand capability needs and to improve the overall efficiency of planning teams

  • Lead a team of highly experienced Supply Chain Engineers supporting Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management and Order Fulfillment functions

  • Ability to deliver large scale, high-value projects within an established delivery methodology

  • Work with and influence cross-functional teams (Operations areas, IT, PMO) to drive successful deployments

  • Define, lead and execute a multi-year supply chain capabilities roadmap

Education Requirements

  • Graduate level degree in Business, Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or industry-related curriculum

Professional Experience Required

  • 5+ years of related IT or Supply Chain program/project leadership

  • 5+ years supply chain experience

  • 5+ years supply planning systems experience (JDA/SAP APO)

  • Experience in implementing any new large-scale enterprise wide supply chain solution

  • Working familiarity with several supply chain tools in supply planning, demand planning, sales and operations planning, order promising and in-depth knowledge in 1 or 2 tools

Professional Experience Preferred

  • 10+ years of experience including leadership in large-scale capability deployments supporting critical business processes

  • Experience with planning in a semiconductor manufacturing environment

  • Experience leading JDA supply planning implementation

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Expert level technical understanding of SAP APO, including DP, GATP, and SNP (CTM)

  • Strong leadership, communication, consulting and influencing skills

  • Deep knowledge of supply chain best practices

  • Strong systems thinking capability

  • Critical thinking skills

  • Highly self-motivated and outcome oriented

  • Highly action oriented with tenacity to keep the project progressing by smashing obstacles, negotiating scope or by creative problem solving

  • Program/Project management, with experience leading multiple large projects

  • Supply chain acumen with strong industrial engineering foundation

To deliver the potential growth, the Global team will explore and lead the international expansion of the brand & portfolio in partnership with local teams, establish the right organizational structure and robust route to market, while ensuring brand consistency with the US Masterbrand.   The Happy Family Global Senior Supply Chain / Planning Manager will be responsible for facilitating the international expansion of Happy Family brand and portfolio from a Supply Chain point of view, therefore responsible for many facets of the business, overseeing various elements such as forecast accuracy and service level analysis, as well as leading some critical projects to improve the time to market to all points of supply chain to ease the implementation of the global roll-out of the brand. S/He will also direct report to the Global 1st Diet Ops / Supply Chain and Planning Director  and will therefore benefit from his/her support and expertise. S/He will also work closely with both the Happy Family US Operations/Supply Chain and Planning team, as well as the Local Happy Family Operations/Supply Chain and Planning teams in the various geographies where the brand is being launched.   Main functional relations * Happy Family US Operations / Supply Chain and Planning organization (Boise, ID) * Regional and Central Operations / Supply Chain teams (Amsterdam, NL) * Export Destination Operations / Supply Chain and Planning Happy Family teams * Happy Family Global cross-functional teams (based both in NY and Boise, ID)   The Happy Family Global Senior Supply Chain / Planning Manager will be a key player in a small dynamic connected team, with strong cross-functional links, and focused on roll-out/expansion of Happy Family to China and beyond. By design, the role is in an international setting, working across several time zones with different culture (Chinese, European, American, etc).   His/her tasks will require to be agile and solutions oriented, working in dispersed organisation, which means having the ability to take strong initiative to drive along progress without close direct support.
