Executes global strategies and programs across Supplier Sustainability & Responsible Sourcing for Grace supply base
Fosters sustainability solutions, compliance with regulatory, customer, supplier and/or industry requirements as well as alignment with enterprise level strategy, policies, and procedures related to supply base management, specifically in areas related to sustainability, risk, quality and responsible sourcing.
Works with category leaders and other functional team to develop and execute Grace's risk management systems related to Grace's supply base.
Support Grace's safety culture by demonstrating leadership as it strives to achieve an accident-free environment.
Promote Grace's vision of striving to be a premier specialty chemicals and materials company and demonstrate and integrate its core values into daily activities.
Provide subject matter level expertise for sustainability and associated responsible sourcing platforms to effectively manage and mitigate risk for Grace
Lead Global/Area cross-functional teams (i.e. Legal, Ethics, HR, Risk and EHS) to develop and execute strategies, monitor regulations and integrate solutions to assure compliance
Identify, qualify, assess and manage suppliers, assuring sourcing, regulatory compliance and risk reduction particularly in areas where Grace might be single-sourced or sole-sourced.
Conduct supplier prioritization, outreach, analyzing and validating supplier technical data
Develop Supplier performance program to drive supplier responsiveness and conformance, working with category owners to escalate when necessary
Manage supplier corrective & preventive action and drive improvement via scorecards, manage Root Cause & Corrective Actions (RCCA) process to ensure continual improvement to our supply base performance
Liaise with global teams, legal counsel and other functional experts to monitor regulations & mitigate risks
Develop & conduct training for toll manufacturers, suppliers, 3rd party providers and internal sourcing professionals
Work with toll manufacturers, suppliers and 3rd party providers to execute activities on Grace's behalf, ensuring compliance
Represent Grace with key industry or government associations
Possess a Bachelor s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in one or more of the following functions: EHS, Sourcing, Product Responsibility, Sustainability, Quality or Compliance in a private, public, government or military environment. Chemical manufacturing background preferred.
