Our Global Supplier Industrialization team enables the industrialization of innovative products in an extremely aggressive timeline across the globe. In this highly visible role, the Supplier Industrialization Manager for Programs Management recruits, develops, mentors, and leads a team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs) and Supplier Industrialization Engineers (SIEs) who are responsible to lead, develop and drive best-in-class program management systems including development of and day to day maintenance of Supplier and SIE team programs performance metrics, tools and databases leading to predictive analytics.

You will lead a team that is actively engaged and act as a liaison across TPMs and Program personnel from functional areas such as corporate quality, supply chain, manufacturing, engineering IT, enterprise, and corporate program management to create innovative program management methods, tools and techniques to achieve ambitious specifications and ensure a flawless execution during launch.

Candidate must be industrious, agile, ability wok in different time zones and able to travel across the globe (NA/Asia/EU/KSA) to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for program management systems and analytics development.

Candidate must have strong global program management experience managing global SIE teams and suppliers, be able to direct suppliers and SIEs on program management deliverables and KPIs and have the capacity to contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced, fast-changing, and sometimes unpredictable environment.

You Will:

  • Program Management for Supplier Industrialization Engineering (SIE):

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the SIE program and project management, aligning with broader organizational program management goals.

  • Lead, motivate and manage the team of TPMs and SIEs, setting clear objectives and performance standards.

  • Ensure SIE program management coverage for new product launches, internal-external running changes including NPI and maintain a high level of technical expertise in each area, aligned with Engineering and cross functional program management teams.

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of SIE projects and programs, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

  • Implement and refine SIE project and program management methodologies, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in delivery.

  • On a day-to-day basis, lead the team to follow-up and escalate with work cross functional teams on SIE project and program progress, resolving issues and adjusting as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Lead regular reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of the SIE project and program status, pinpoint areas for enhancement, provide risk mitigation plans and ensure consistent and impactful communication and escalations to Leadership.

  • SIE Program Management Team Development:

  • Build and lead high-performing SIE Program Management teams of Engineers and Leads with a strong focus on collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Provide hands-on training. coaching and mentorship to develop the program management skills and expertise of team members.

  • Establish and communicate direct reports Program SIE team OKRs-Goals-KPIs to create a culture of accountability and ensure its compliance by conducting disciplined 1:1, 365 review and annual performance reviews.

  • General Leadership:

  • Lead by example to make a positive influence with internal and external stakeholders. Participate in leadership review meetings including overseeing the annual budget and resource allocation.

  • Be visible and voice of SIE Program Management team by generating regular reports for senior management, highlighting SIE/Supplier performance, OKRs-Goals-KPIs, risks, and strategies for improvement.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes on program management that may impact supplier industrialization.

  • Have ability to travel 25-75% on average on a short term or long-term basis to Lucid Motors and supplier sites globally on a short notice.

You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in an Automotive, Electronics or high-volume manufacturing business and at least 3+ years of experience as Program Management/PMO leader. Previous Greenfield project experience preferably with EV start-up would be an asset.

  • 3+ years of people manager experience leading a team of TPMs and SIEs with proven track record of global team development globally.

  • Proven track record of global team development and demonstrated leadership in program management/PMO.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, proven program management capabilities and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Hands-on supplier industrialization, supplier quality toolbox (ISO, IATF, DFM, GD&T) and automotive core pillars (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA) experience. Demonstrated experience in conducting supplier audits and assessments using industry standard methodologies.

  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, hands-on and data-driven, creative mindset in problem-solving

  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, be part of the solution and be able to adapt to the dynamic working environment.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Smartsheet, JMP, Minitab, JIRA and Tableau is a plus.

  • BS in Engineering, Postgraduate in Business Management a plus.

  • Certification preferred - Project Management (PMP), Lead Auditor, American Society for Quality, Six Sigma Black Belt, etc.

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid's equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

Base Pay Range (Annual)

$125,400-$183,920 USD
