CDK Global is seeking a highly-skilled and experienced Manager Success Consultant to be a critical part of our Learning & Performance team and join our mission of building stronger dealerships with cutting-edge technology. In this role, you will design, develop and deliver leadership programs for new and experienced people managers in the CDK Client Delivery. The ideal candidate is a self-starting and flexible individual seeking exciting opportunities within a dynamic company.
Position Responsibilities & Essential functions
Design, develop and deliver leadership programs for new and experienced people managers in the CDK Global Client Delivery team.
Curate and develop leadership training and program content (facilitator led, self-paced/online).
Evaluate existing internal and external leadership development programs and resources for inclusion in manager curricula.
Facilitate virtual and in-person workshops and conduct one on one coaching sessions/calls for people managers at all levels of experience.
Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop and implement leadership programs.
Facilitate virtual and in-person leadership events, as well as one on one coaching, for people managers at all levels of experience.
Assist people managers in developing actionable development plans.
Establish and effectively manage project outlines and deadlines for development projects.
Partner with leadership, stakeholders and HR to identify metrics and develop KPIs.
Facilitate and administer a wide variety of assessments; generate reports and analyze trends based on assessment results.
Communicate and gain buy in from leadership and key stakeholders.
Leverage industry best practices from sources outside of CDK Global, as appropriate.
Ensure leadership communications to managers and regular, targeted communication to drive awareness of the program and new materials added on an ongoing basis.
Qualifications & Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
8+ years experience in Training, Talent Development or HR within large, global high tech, or related industries preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a leadership development instructor or equivalent demonstrated first line supervisory experience.
Self-driven to execute with minimal direction while also effectively collaborating in a team environment.
Strong business acumen, consultation skills and solid understanding of the link between learning solutions and business results.
Detail-oriented project manager with the ability to align and hold multiple stakeholders accountable to project scope, timelines, and activities.
Demonstrated program management and blended instructional design experience including assessing needs, partnering with subject matter experts, building learning programs, facilitating live and virtual courses, and measuring outcomes.
Strong facilitation and communication skills in a fast paced and evolving environment.
Knowledge of adult learning principles.
Experience in facilitation, coaching and delivery of 360 feedback and other leadership assessments preferred.
Ability to network and build a range of trusted stakeholder relationships.
Commitment to continuous learning and development.
PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES & Qualifications
Graduate Degree in Learning & Development, Organizational Design or job-related discipline or equivalent experience.
3+ years' of experience in leadership development, talent management and/or succession planning.
Certifications in various assessments (MBTI, FIRO-B).
Certifications in external management and leadership development programs.
Facilitator Certification and/or Coaching Certification.
Crucial Conversations Certification.
