The Manager, Strategic Analytics is responsible for providing both day-to-day insights and big picture analysis to help optimize performance across Aaron's business units. The role requires the ability to leverage financial & business knowledge to influence senior leadership and help formulate recommendations related to the company's corporate strategy or operations.

Job Duties:

  • Develop a detailed, strategic analytical framework inclusive of predictive analytics to guide company initiatives

  • Conduct in depth analyses of performance across a variety of company projects, and present recommendations to team members, product owners, and senior management

  • Engages with business leaders and team members to understand the needs of the business, turn them into data requirements, and structure data-based solutions as required by the business

  • Help define and recommend measurement, strategies, and reporting that will be used to inform key business decisions and drive a best-in-class customer experience while delivering profitable results

  • Perform ad hoc analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements within the work area to management resulting in increased revenue and/or reduction of expense

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5 6 years of finance experience

  • Ability to lead complex quantitative and qualitative research efforts and business intelligence solutions

  • Pro-actively participate in and identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, standardization and process simplification

  • Time management Demonstrates efficiency and persistence, managing own time and ensuring engagement deadlines and objectives are met

  • Communication Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive and accurately interpret ideas, information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. This includes the ability to describe or explain complex processes and issues in a concise manner

  • Persuasion and collaboration Nurtures and builds effective partnerships with clients to achieve results; team player, comfortable working on multiple teams/projects simultaneously and independently, as needed

  • Critical thinking Understanding of the issues related to the decision-making process; ability to analyze situations fully and accurately, and reach productive decisions

Drive LEAN Supply Chain initiatives. * Define supply chain project objectives, goals, tasks, costs and resource requirements and resolve conflicts within and between projects or functional areas * Domestic and international travel between 25-40% may be required Required Skills 7-10 years' experience in electro-mechanical supply chain leadership role with an emphasis on sourcing electronic sub-assemblies and components * Demonstrated success of leading the sourcing process, defining the capability and risk analysis of Suppliers, and working across both businesses and geographies particularly with contract manufacturers, surface-mount technologies, original equipment manufacturers, and sub-assembly contractors * Demonstrated success in leading Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Design for Test (DFT) * Proven track record of mitigating supply chain disruptions due to counterfeit, end-of-life, or allocation-based components * Experience of successfully managing Supplier relationships and driving cost reductions into open-book contract manufacturers * Solid understanding of procurement laws with the ability to oversee and negotiate master supply agreements, statements of work, amendments, etc. * Experience with enterprise-sourcing purchasing systems Required Experience * BS Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related subject. MBA or Masters' degree preferred * Professional certifications such as the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS), Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP), Certified Professional Purchasing Manager (CPPM), or Project Management Professional (PMP) are highly desirable * Demonstrated project management ability including driving and closing multiple complex, high risk projects. PMP certification is highly desirable. * Demonstrated ability to communicate, influence and build relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
