As our store design experienc on the Store Innovation Team, our Manager will balance proven Burlington planning philosophies with innovative and cutting-edge solutions to elevate the store experience for customers and associates. This individual consistently demonstrates cross-functional proficiency in the creation of Store design and graphic documents to support Burlington's Innovation, Prototype, Graphics and Capex Projects as assigned and manages all documentation, production, communication, and quality control relative to assigned projects while partnering with internal and external teams to successfully execute assigned projects and processes.
A Day In The Life

• Develop and maintain effective cross functional working relationships with internal and external vendors /partners. Store Planning, Construction, Architecture, Legal, Real Estate, and Senior Management.+ Proactively partner with internal and external teams to resolve conflicts and communicate change that might affect brand right store openings.+ Major contributor to the support of Burlington's Design Principals through interior store space planning and design of fixtures, graphics, and finishes. Will need to collaborate with internal and external partners and vendors.+ Design and innovation ideas or solutions need to be communicated through sketching, rendering general concepts, detailed illustrated renderings, design intent drawings utilizing AutoCAD software and SketchUp.+ Work closely with existing vendors and installers to support current and new design innovation. Work to develop new vendors and installer resources.
• Develop project specific scope of work and decisions for each project based upon location specific requirements and budget guidelines.+ Design Fixture solutions to exceed merchandising needs and simplify store execution.
• Develope and produce Store Planning conceptual plans, construction documents, interior planning documents and programming for all types of stores and projects utilizing SketchUp and AutoCAD software for on time delivery.+ Responsible for developing and producing presentation and construction documents, and design guidance materials.+ Manage Review process and documents for compliance with Store Planning prototype documents.

You'll Come With

• Bachelors Degree in related design field or equivalent experience

• 2+ years of experience in retail store design+ Highly Proficient with AutoCAD

• SketchUP

• Illustrator

• Microsoft Office proficiency; Microsoft Project proficiency preferred

• Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with peers, project team members and business partners.+ Ablity to travel up to 30%
