Responsibilities:

Sr Manager - Procurement Operations

  • Responsible for managing Oracle Procurement and iProcurement modules from a business process perspective, including approving system access, system functionality, enhancements, punch-outs, and managing defects.

  • Responsible for managing Ariba Contract application including approving system access, system functionality, ad-hoc reporting requests, and working with vendor to resolve issues.

  • Manages 1 on-shore employee and 4 off-shore employees; accountable for managing workload, providing direction regarding policy/procedures, performance feedback/coaching and approvals for PO's or Blanket Purchase Agreements

  • SME for move from Oracle on-premise to Oracle Cloud for Procurement, iProcurement, Contracts and Sourcing.

  • Accountable for quarterly self-audit program

  • Training new employees and staff on policy or system changes

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for one employee in Boca Corporate office and off-shore staff of 4 Procurement buyers (Capgemini). Ensures compliance to Office Depot policies, procedures and Service Level Agreements with off-shore team.

  • Reviews and approves purchase orders (PO) and/or blanket purchase orders (BPO) submitted by off-shore procurement team. Ensures:

  • Compliance to Procurement policies for the spend amount

  • contract or purchase order terms & conditions are in place prior to establishing blanket purchase agreement for supplier

  • Reviews and approves Blanket Purchase Agreements for the purchase of catalog items, including validating vendor information, pricing, release methodology, etc.

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle modules (Purchasing, iProcurement, Contract & Sourcing); Troubleshoots system issues, raises defects in JIRA, works with IT on resolution/testing, and validates production fix. Manages Ariba Contract Management tool including system access, issues resolution, ad-hoc reports.

  • Performs internal assessment on compliance to Procurement policies and procedures by performing various audits on a quarterly basis. Ensures audits are completed and documentation published in accordance with the audit calendar.

  • Point person for SOX or Internal Audit requests involving Procurement Operations/functions.

  • Training on-shore & off-shore staff on new/updated system functionality and policy/procedure updates.

  • Helps drive value through innovation and collaboration with business partners to identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.S) in Business, Supply Chain or Similar

  • 5 to 7 years experience in Procurement Operations Management, Accounting or Inventory

  • APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society)

  • CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management)

  • Working knowledge of Oracle Procurement (on-premises and/or /cloud)

  • Oracle Contracts & Sourcing would be a plus

  • MS Office

  • Ariba Contracts & Sourcing a plus

  • Managing direct reports (on-shore and off-shore personnel)

Solid understanding of procurement operational controls
