We are hiring a Specialty & National Retail Account Manager to join our North America Specialty Retail team!

DISCOVER

Are you a driven relationship-builder who can effectively communicate a vision and motivate others? As a Specialty & National Retail Account Manager, you'll have the opportunity to significantly impact our business by driving incremental sales within the Specialty & National Accounts portfolio. Working closely with our internal sales team and external dealer network, you'll own all daily operations, event coordination, and account management pertaining to one of our largest Specialty Retail Accounts, while also supporting other National Accounts.

YOUR RIPPLE EFFECT

  • Are you a strategic problem solver? You will be responsible for increasing revenue within our Specialty Retail Accounts portfolio by developing expansion plans and implementing sales and marketing strategies, working against KPI targets including overall special event count, units sold, revenue, and model mix. You'll also help build the network of dealers participating in Specialty Retail events, through dealer recruitment and selection.

  • Do you enjoy relationship-building? You'll waste no time to gain an intimate knowledge of our industry and develop productive, professional relationships with A & C Suite staff including buyers, Regional Sales Managers, and members of our dealer base. As the primary contact planning, managing, and negotiating shows, you'll frequently liaise between these groups; we are looking for a deft communicator who can identify and successfully articulate the "why" behind a decision and persuade others to implement with urgency. You'll frequently work cross-functionally with internal departments including Sales, Channel Marketing, Accounting, Customer Service, Warranty & Dealer Support; the ideal candidate demonstrates good judgement, leadership, and managerial courage, and is unafraid to pick up the phone to answer questions and drive the timely resolution of any issues.

  • Can you perform diligent follow-up? You will implement regular follow-up with one of our largest Specialty Retail Accounts & the internal sales team, to plan and implement all elements within their Special Event Program. We'll look to you to provide consistent value to our National Accounts through communications, training, and systematic follow-up.

  • Are you analytical? You will analyze data as it relates to strategy, program effectiveness and trends pertaining to our Specialty Retail and National Accounts. We'll rely on you to monitor and measure the performance of our dealers against sales targets, ensuring process and service requirements are met, and provide related monthly business updates to senior sales and leadership team members.

  • Are you system-savvy? We'll expect you to learn and gain proficiency in operating systems including Salesforce, CRM, Watkins sales tools, and our Specialty Retailer systems such as Centah, Smarter X Sorting, etc.

  • Are you thorough? This role requires a high level of organizational skills. You will monitor and ensure Company compliance with all Specialty Retail, manufacturer and dealer agreements and will prepare accurate weekly Salesforce uploads and dealer payment files for approval by management.
