Summary

You will serve as a MANAGER in the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic IG OFFICE of Charleston, SC.
Responsibilities

You will oversee continuous process improvement of functions to align to command's strategic plan and higher authority guidance.
You will provide leadership and guidance on investigations command evaluation reviewers, and roles, responsibilities, policies and functions.
You will analyze findings from previous inspections, correspondence, and other data to identify problems and trends.
You will research, interpret, analyze, and apply laws, regulations and directives, pertinent case law and other guidance.
You will perform a full range of Supervisory duties; lead change and achieve results.
You will collect and analyze organizational and workforce data to implement workforce solutions.

Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13) or pay band (NM-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in performing oversight of external audits and follow up, evaluation reviews, investigation and internal control programs.

Warranty Process - Analyzes customer issues to verify root cause of failure and associated progressive damage using Cummins published service information; interprets the warranty administration manual to determine eligibility for coverage and claim requirements; identifies items associated with repair that can be covered and communicates to stakeholders; files a claim in the appropriate system using proper documentation and requirements to receive accurate settlement. Technical Escalation - Obtains product technical issue information and utilizes available resources including data management tools; elevates issues to a higher level of expertise, balancing timeliness of customer response with investigation efforts; captures all troubleshooting steps in the appropriate database in order to ensure seamless transitions and accurate response to ticket resolution in a timely manner. Service Documentation - Creates and verifies customer, equipment and technical information; captures specific data using required service tools; follows procedures and documents required information in the service management system in order to have an accurate record of the work done.
