St. Luke's Health System in Boise is seeking a Manager Social/Behavioral Health 2 to join our Clinical Teleheath Services team.

St. Luke's Health System is looking for a Clinical Manager to help us build Idaho's first Virtual Behavioral Health team.

A collaborative effort between St. Luke's Behavioral Health and Virtual Care, this position will be a unique opportunity to develop a team of LCSW's providing social work and mental health care to emergency departments and primary care clinics throughout the health system. This innovative model is part of transforming the delivery of behavioral health to create on-demand, patient centered access for our patients across the state.

Based in St. Luke's Virtual Care Center, the behavioral health team will utilize state-of-the art technology to collaborate with bedside caregivers and interact with patients via live 2-way audio/video.

This technology will allow the team to deliver 24/7 coverage to all St. Luke's emergency departments and Integrated behavioral health to all St. Luke's primary care clinics.

As a champion of a new model of care, this role will be critical in designing workflows, implementing standards of care, and developing a culture of excellence within a team of social workers. Advanced critical thinking skills, mature ability to form positive relationships and a passion for innovative thinking is essential. In this role you will have day-to-day oversite of the department while providing leadership, clinical supervision, guidance, and continuing education to staff.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for clinic leadership, program development, policy formulation and deployment of programs. May have regional responsibility.

  • Directs and guides staff in conducting assessments and interventions.

  • Attends/conducts staff and department meetings, in-service training and continuing education.

  • Serves as an expert resource to staff to assist with complex and/or difficult issues in areas of oversight.

  • Budget development and fiscal accountability for areas of oversight.

  • Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary team to ensure understanding and adherence to standards of practice and relevant policies and procedures for areas of oversight.

  • Will select, develop, coach, mentor, and assess performance of staff.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education: Masters' Degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field.

  • Experience: 6 years's experience in Social Work/Behavioral Health or related area.

  • Licenses/Certifications: Must hold a License in the State of Practice in one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Psychologist
