Role reports to: Director, Planning and Channel Strategy
Location: Skillman, NJ. Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman, NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.
Travel %: 10%
Pay: $97,000-$166,750 (if compliant with country laws)
What You Will Do
The Manager, Social Media Excellence Channel Strategy leads the global strategic and operational approach to drive ROI within social channels. This role sits on the global Media Excellence team and works closely with the markets to improve efficiency and effectiveness, while continuing to drive innovation. This role will also support other key pillars of planning excellence, including best practice governance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage media best practice governance: new channel/platform rollout, definitions, partner data automation, visualization, validation, optimization planning, and updated versioning for channel best practices
Partner management for key social platforms, including oversight to creative/content and media planning best practices
Collaborate with CBI to define & implement learning agendas across core partners and scale and cascade pilots and insights. Engage partners in alpha and beta opportunities where there's potential to scale.
Lead efforts to establish governance frameworks for the company's ad operations and account management on key social platforms. Lead the development of best practices and guidelines for social media ad ops, helping to ensure consistency and quality across campaigns.
AdTech Operations: With agencies, GCC and brand partners, manage access and capabilities within Ads Manager toolset, identify and scale additional tools that help streamline operations, insights and media delivery.
Explore the role of AI in optimizing the performance of Kenvue's investment on social platforms, leveraging data-driven insights and automation to enhance campaign effectiveness.
Evaluate new social platforms or new features and develop POVs, communications and engagement checklists to streamline learning and activation.
Stay abreast of industry trends and developments in social media advertising to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree is required.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive commercial experience, with a strong track record of business results and organizational leadership.
Strong background on media planning principles (planning to reach/frequency requirements, ROI optimizer tools) and how to integrate into standard media planning best practices and planning operations
Track record of success, identifying and implementing new technologies, measuring and delivering change management and in-market adoption.
Exceptional business communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate complex messages to diverse audiences
Strong creative and analytical, thinking ability to set a vision, identify new opportunities, develop new ways of working, pinpoint solutions to complex problems and overcome obstacles.
Proven leadership ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams across a matrix organization.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate and collaborate successfully to drive value and build relationships with internal teams, suppliers and agencies.
Ability to motivate department and project team members, set achievable objectives, maintain a positive outlook, take responsibility, make decisions, and hold self and team members accountable.
Travel up to 10% may be required.
Desired Qualifications
Master's or MBA is strongly preferred.
Experience in media planning and buying, including streamlining media operations and leveraging digital and media analytics to drive ROI improvement.
Experience with Adtech and Data platforms is a plus.
Experience working with global internal and external partners is preferred.
What's in it for you
Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $97,000 to $166,750. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
