My client is a rapidly growing startup in the life sciences/healthcare sector located in the heart of NYC! They are exploding, and need to add top talent to their F A team.

They work hard, this is not the company for someone whom wants a 9-5 job, but you will be well rewarded, with amazing experience/exposure, bonus based on level between 15 - 25% (actually being paid out at 100% + for top performers) + equity. An exceptional Manager, Sn. Mgr. of Technical Accounting.

Depending on candidate experience, they have flexibility on title/level. This is a brand new role reporting into the Director of Technical Accounting whom is a Big 4/Private/CPA (almost everyone on the team are all B4 backgrounds). This role will sit on the corporate team with a lot of exposure to senior and "C" level management. There is an amazing career path for this individual.

Here are a few of the Manager, Sn. Mgr. of Technical Accounting responsibilities: planning, directing and coordinating research of technical accounting issues, writing accounting policy memos, adoption and implementation of all applicable new accounting pronouncements, accounting team lead for implementing and maintaining internal controls and all external financial reporting for the organization, including all company subsidiaries. Candidate Background: ? MUST come out of Accounting Advisory ? MUST have public accounting experience, B4 is highly preferred or top regional firms ? The client ideally wants someone with straight public accounting experience.

A great way for you manager, senior manager out of B4 to make that transition into the private/commercial sector. ? May look at public/private backgrounds out of B4 ? CPA is required ? Highly prefer life sciences/healthcare clients ? Experience with a large ERP like Oracle, SAP and/or Hyperion is a + ? Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance. Masters' degree always welcomed ? Minimum of 7+ years? experience The Manager, Sn. Mgr. of Technical Accounting should have exceptional communications skills and the ability to work well in a dynamic team environment.

The HEOR Methodologies & Capabilities Lead will collaborate very closely with the HEOR function leads to foster a culture of collaboration, enhance best practice sharing, and continuous learning. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES * Work closely with the MaC lead and key internal stakeholders to identify gaps in terms of process, tools, and resources * Coordinate/lead HEOR processes improvements/standardization * Lead above brand initiatives and studies * Leading by example to foster a culture of continuous learning * Support HEOR colleagues with ICER activities * Support ad hoc requests for VBA initiatives * Lead/be involved in technical review committees * Work in collaboration with the Academy to roll out global initiatives at the local level and improve the global/local relationship * Leading 1 or more community of practice * Engage with users, stakeholders and others to ensure that needs and opportunities are understood, gather feedback, and ensure that our tools and processes are fit-for-purpose, creating clear value and are as streamlined and simple to use as possible * Involvement, inputs in ad hoc work streams to prepare the Patient & Health Impact division to successfully explore bold new approaches to redefine our go-to-market model BASIC QUALIFICATIONS * Doctoral degree (PhD, DrPH, PharmD, ScD) or MSc/MPH in health economics, health services research, health policy, health care financing, public health or significant work experience in health economics, health services research, health policy, health care financing, public health, or market access is required; 7+ years of relevant HEOR experience strongly desired. * Strong technical skills in HEOR. * Proven track record in leadership and leading change effectively. * Able to think broadly and incorporate experiences or knowledge from other sectors into daily work and strategy-setting * Ability to work in a matrix environment * Excellent written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to translate scientific and technical outcomes into meaningful business impact * Maintains wide professional networks and established reputation within external market access Sunshine Act Pfizer reports payments and other transfers of value to health care providers as required by federal and state transparency laws and implementing regulations.
