Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Manager- SHP (Security Health Plan) Quality supports leadership with the management of staff and day-to-day operations for the assigned area of responsibility. This individual is accountable to deliver established goals, utilizes good judgment to assess and escalate situations when warranted and utilizes knowledge and skills in the area of expertise while maintaining expected quality standards.

This Manager- SHP Quality works between various departments in the organization and state and federal offices to ensure compliance with quality reporting requirements. This individual will focus on meeting applicable accrediting organization and regulatory requirements. The Manager-SHP Quality acts as a leader by building constructive relationships and by supporting department leadership in developing, setting and executing department goals, Security Health Plan's strategic plan, and Security Health

Plan's mission, vision and values.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational

qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, management or a healthcare or technical field related to the position. Four years of healthcare or health plan experience in the areas of quality or member/patient experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree in addition to experience required below.

Preferred/Optional: None

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required: Three years' experience in a leadership role that demonstrated personal leadership effectiveness and team‐building strategies.

Preferred/Optional: Two years management experience.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
