What you'll be doing:

As a Manager in our Research, Delivery & Operations Project Management Office, you'll work with a passionate team responsible for leading cross-team programs and projects, strengthening our project management discipline, and striving towards operational excellence through effective process management.

The Job:

You will leverage your program management, Security and Risk experience as well as savvy to tackle and conquer challenges. We are looking for a Manager with excellent communication and collaboration skills to lead diverse teams across Blackbaud, focused on leading technical programs and projects for our Infrastructure Engineering and Cloud Operations organization. This month the challenge may be a complicated initiative with varying requirements across demanding stakeholders that needs a clear, comprehensive plan and a steady, experienced leader to guide and govern it. Next month you may be partnering with a cross-functional team to gain efficiencies or reduce risk by defining a new process. Whatever the challenge, you'll always be looking for ways we can do things better.

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary PMO representative for the Security and Risk sub-portfolio

  • Lead and manage complex strategic cross-organizational Security and Risk related projects

  • Drive collaboration and communication necessary to ensure program success, including successful integration of projects and dependencies.

  • Self-motivated to own and solve difficult challenges and ability to motivate others to higher levels

  • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Strong desire and aptitude for continuous learning and keeping abreast of new and emerging technology

  • Ability to establish positive working relationships, manage expectations, bring together and align different points of view

  • Address challenges such as identifying where and how to use data; determining tools and technologies to deploy; ensuring that preventive, detective, and corrective controls are in place and functioning effectively

  • Act as the point of escalation for risks, issues and obstacles, ensuring action items are clearly defined, assigned to owners and driven to resolution in a timely manner.

  • Partner with leadership to develop, deploy and govern project management standards, best practices and project success measures.

  • Actively contribute in advancing our processes to drive efficiency and improve effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience

  • Demonstrated previous experience in risk and compliance, having been an auditor, external examiner or run an audit organization for a large technology firm or within the financial industry preferred

  • Experience with security and risk in Public Cloud environments, preferably Azure or AWS

  • A minimum of 5 years Agile program/project management experience required

  • CISSP and/or Security+ certifications preferred

  • Previous experience with the NIST Cybersecurity framework

  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams preferred

Work you'll do * Manage technology lifecycle of a flagship third-party risk management system * Act a bridge between the cross-domain users, Information Technology Services (ITS) and the product vendor(s) to deliver agreed-upon configuration modifications * Exhibit a blend of capabilities that of a Relationship Manager, Business Analyst, Project Manager, User Acceptance Tester, and Configuration Specialist/Developer. * Gain in-depth knowledge of business processes, risk-scoring, rules, and the product's technical capabilities, * Primarily an individual contributor role with some oversight of offshore/vendor resources * Develop deep expertise in the relevant business processes of the Anti-Corruption and Trade (ACT), the Independence & Conflicts Network- Business Relationship group and any other risk domains that may be incorporated in the Third Party Risk Management Gateway (TPRM). * Become fully knowledgeable of the technical capabilities of the vendor products utilized by the Gateway - Aravo, Arachnys, and other Deloitte systems linked to TPRM Gateway such as Conflict Check Application (CCA), One Client Master (OCM), etc. * Liaise between various users and leadership constituencies to align everyone with the strategic direction, and to mobilize and track continuous improvement ideas. * Coordinate with users to gather accurate, complex requirements, and communicate such requirements to the Deloitte Information Technology Services (ITS) and vendor teams. * Plan and perform effective User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of applications to translate end user needs into solutions and obtain error free system implementations. * Assist team members with provisioning access to authorized users, maintaining audit trail of approvals, and conducting periodic access appropriateness reviews. * Present weekly status reports to Risk and Brand Protection Senior Manager * Serve as the primary technology support resource by analyzing system and configuration, troubleshooting, identifying root cause, and brainstorming/deciding on appropriate remediations. In addition, responsibilities will include escalating appropriate incidents to ITS and/or vendor support as necessary and tracking to resolution. Manages relationship with vendor, drives and schedules system upgrades and enhancements * As secondary responsibility, design and configure enhancements in the TPRM platform in response to domain requirements. The team The Ethics & Compliance group manages and monitors certain fundamental compliance requirements such as personal Independence, CPA licensing, CPE and mandatory training. A number of resources and tools have been developed to aid our professionals in making ethical decisions and remaining in compliance with Deloitte policy. Customer Experience Innovation and Compliance (CEIC) team which you will be part of resides within Ethics & Compliance group and is responsible to provide critical technology contributions to the TPRM program.
