Job Description: SOVAH Health - Danville
Manages the daily operations of the hospital security department to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives. Maintains efficient and effective departmental operations while ensuring compliance with all JC, state, federal and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols.
Job Requirements Bachelor's degree required in a Program in a field of study related to security management, law enforcement, social work, psychology or a technical field of study related to safety, engineering or natural science.
Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required. Ten
years of progressive experience in law enforcement or security management experience is required, with at least three years of these in a healthcare environment, preferably a hospital or hospital system OR a combination of education and Safety and Security experience or leadership experience that would be considered the equivalent of the above. Experience in day to day operation of large hospital security department is preferred.
