Sales and Pre-sales Support:
Lead meetings with clients to discuss and propose Security Advisory solutions and projects
Collaborate with clients to develop project scope and pricing estimates
Lead and collaborate in developing proposals, SOWs, letters of engagement, and RFP responses
Develop and maintain client relationships, ensure client satisfaction, expand existing Security Advisory engagements
As necessary, engage with partners to bring the best of the Avanade, Accenture, and Microsoft business group to potentially solve our clients' toughest challenges
Project Delivery and Execution
Support, manage and/or lead advisory projects and manage the execution and day-to-day activities
Support, manage, and or lead project teams and consultants to deliver on client expectations
Develop client deliverables and work products and prepare and present oral and written reports
Assess Security processes, documentation, workflows, and technologies to identify gaps, recommendations, and roadmaps
Map IT and security control environments to regulatory and security standards
Develop security strategies to help clients improve their security program, operating model, and maturity
Assess business, IT, and security risks, identify remediations, and develop metrics and reporting
Create executive level presentation and reporting/status updates
Develop high level security strategies, architectures, and designs for security technology capabilities
Travel as dictated by business needs, often 20% to 50% travel throughout North America supporting Clients
Firm Building
Participate in firm initiatives that support the overall firm strategy
Participate in Security Advisory team initiatives to support the regional strategy
Support the development of new Security Advisory solutions and services
Support the development of new go to market strategies to bring Security Advisory services and offerings our clients

The Avanade Security Advisory team provides strategic security advice to help our clients protect their most valuable digital, intellectual, and human assets while accelerating the time to realization from investments made to deliver broader business value. We deliver our broad range of security advisory services through an integrated and highly collaborative approach between our clients and practitioners. You'll be responsible for collaborating with the Security Advisory leadership and regional management team, within a highly matrixed organization, with a significant focus in achieving both corporate and practice objectives, including exemplary delivery, sales targets, and revenue goals. You will regularly provide strategic advice to senior clients while providing strategic, operational, and tactical recommendations in the form of work products. This role requires knowledge and experience in delivering with a management consultant mindset first, closely followed by that of an information security and risk management practitioner across disciplines such as Enterprise Security Strategy, Identity and Access Management, Data Protection and Governance, Portfolio Optimization and Rationalization, and GenAI Readiness.
8+ years of professional experience in Management Consulting, IT Security Consulting or Industry Security positions (Cyber Security Manager, IT Security Manager, Security Auditor, Security Analysts) from top management consulting, IT professional services firm, or Fortune 500 company
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a Humanities related discipline. Masters/MBA preferred
Certified candidates (or willingness to obtain) related Security Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CSSLP, CRISC, CISM, CIPP or CIPT • Microsoft Security SC-900, AZ-900, or AI-900
