The Manager of Sales Support for the EB Division plays a key role in providing leadership and oversight to the Sales Support team. With associates located in the HO and Regional Offices, this leader will work closely with the Sales leadership to provide a staffing model that flexes to and supports future Sales growth projections.
Utilizing the Team Leads, this person is responsible for ensuring that the department meets SLAs, while adhering to our IGO requirements for RFPs and NB Submissions. This leader will empower, engage and develop associates for personal and professional development to prepare today for tomorrow's needs. This individual will report directly to the VP, EB Sales.
Manage the day to day operations of the Sales Support Team;
Provide leadership and guidance to the Sales Support Team Leads;
Work with Team Leads to monitor Sales Admin production to insure staffing levels are adequate and aligned with Sales Reps and Relationship Managers;
Collaborate with members of the following groups to ensure quality deliverables using pre-established processes and procedures: Sales Managers/Reps, Relationship Managers, Underwriting, Operations and Corporate Support Services
Serve as a member of the Salesforce Steering committee representing Sales Support on system enhancements and reports to provide metrics as needed
Partner with EB leaders to collaborate across all departments to elevate EB and to provide recommendations for system and process improvements that align with our Growth Strategy
Approve timecards weekly; manage and approve PTO requests to insure proper coverage;
Performance Connections responsibilities including monthly, quarterly and annual touch point conversations with each associate; provide mid-year and annual reviews; work with team to develop key actions; provide personal development plan guidance.
Work with Sales leaders to insure consistent communication and messaging.
2-3 years Management or Leadership experience or equivalent Sales Support experience;
Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently; self-motivating
Ability to manage multiple people and tasks; strong prioritization skills
Detail oriented and deadline driven with excellent organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and Access are required; ability to learn EB applications used by Sales Support Team
Ability to adapt to an ever-changing business environment
