Manager - Sales Operations

Summary

The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for leading the efforts of a small team of Sales Operations Agents who primarily focus on completing critical business processes for the Acima Sales Team. This role ensures our internal operational processes for the Acima Sales Team are optimized to be the most efficient for our potential merchants, merchants, sales reps, and our Sales Ops Agents. The Sales Operations Manager role builds and maintains cross functional department relationships within Acima to support innovative improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Drive timely underwriting of net new merchant locations to Acima resulting in faster adoption to the Acima Leasing Platform with our new merchant partners

  • Maintain efficient completion of business-critical case workload for the Acima Sales and supporting functions

  • Effectively lead team members assigned to exceed/meet goals and expectations by planning, organizing and delegating tasks

  • Create a positive work environment with open communications and resolution of problems free from discrimination and harassment with direct reports, supervisors, peers, vendors and retailers

  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline sales operations processes and enhance productivity

  • Serve as company subject matter expert on new merchant on-boarding ensuring compliance with Acima processes, business controls, and industry regulations (state and federal)

  • Partner with all Acima Sales Leaders including the VP of Store Operations, Regional Vice Presidents (RVP), Area Sales Managers (ASM) and Enterprise Sales to develop and implement appropriate sales operations processes to maximize GMV through efficient merchant onboarding and business continuity

  • Build strong collaboration and alignment with Acima's Salesforce Administration team to drive actionable insights from sales operations performance data, striving to improve the tools and information available to our sales operations team

  • Conceive, develop and maintain team dashboards in Salesforce that provide insight into individual/team workload and performance

  • Conduct regular training sessions and provide ongoing support to ensure the sales operations team effectively utilizes company sales systems

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of Acima experience including knowledge of critical business processes, sales programs, compliance routines and merchant enrollment requirements preferred

  • 2-3 years of experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM, including building reports and dashboards preferred

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Works independently using his/her professional judgement making and discretion

  • Proven time management skills.

  • Critical thinking; independent discretion, and decision-making responsibilities in escalated situations.

  • Advanced, collaborative communication skills, via telephone and in writing, and ability to advise and influence the decision-making process of merchant business owners, managers and agents

  • Strong attention to detail, self-starter, and the ability to multitask.

  • Experience leveraging Salesforce or comparable CRM with a successful track record of using technology to enhance business outcomes
