Job Description
Job Purpose
The Manager, Sales Operations & Analytics will be a remote position with periodic in-office days based on departmental needs (e.g., quarterly review department meetings). The individual employed in this position will be responsible for spearheading data-driven decision-making and managing the daily sales and support operations of the Occupational Health/Corporate Medicine department - including implementation of scalable systems and processes, administration of Salesforce CRM, ongoing training and team support, focus on issue resolution, oversight of all operational performance analysis and reporting. This role will be the operational partner to the sales and service teams as well as key cross-departmental partners, serving as the custodian of data integrity and data hygiene used to enhance our business insights, improve operational performance, ensure programs are meeting department KPIs and ultimately drive sales.
Duties and Responsibilities
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Manager, Sales Operations & Analytics are:
Serve as subject matter expertise with department data sources/tools and apply expertise to deliver high quality reporting and actionable insights.
Create and maintain sales reports, utilize advanced analytics tools and techniques, and provide recommendations to enhance sales and support teams' performance.
Spearhead the development and ongoing management of dynamic dashboards and sales tools, ensuring they are relevant and accessible for our internal teams, leaders and business partners.
Manage and maintain Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud & Pardot) customizations for existing and changing business process needs including configuration, custom fields and objects, page layouts, flows, and third party applications.
Monitor and analyze data of sales activities, lead pipeline generation, sales forecasting and account utilization to help identify business trends and make strategic growth decisions.
Manage and maintain department's data quality and data integration across all systems, including Salesforce CRM (Salesforce, Employer Portal, Athena, Domo, Tableau, etc.).
Oversee all corporate account onboarding and maintenance processes, across multiple systems (Salesforce CRM, Athena, DOMO, Tableau, etc.) to ensure account portfolio is properly maintained and back-end operations fulfillment is meeting SLAs.
Collaborate with Product, Data & Technology, Revenue Cycle, Marketing and Operations on leveraging CRM platforms and integration projects (Sales Cloud, Health Cloud, Pardot, Employer Portal) to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Partner closely with data & technology teams to enhance data quality and accessibility.
Lead cross-functional projects from conception to delivery that directly impact department initiatives including new business, retention, customer service, and back-end fulfillment.
Monitor progress of department KPIs and embrace a continuous improvement mindset to independently identify bottlenecks in sales operations processes that will improve business performance.
Spearhead department's third party solutions and vendor evaluation, selection, and implementation process.
Create and maintain training materials and lead department training/refreshers for sales team, support teams, and key business partners on Salesforce CRM and sales operational processes.
Assist in all aspects of CityMD-Summit Health's Occupational Health/Corporate Medicine's sales, service and operation initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A candidate's qualifications will include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Public Health or other applicable degree preferred
4+ years working in a sales operations and/or sales analytics role
Admin experience in Business Intelligence Tools (Tableau, Domo), combining data sources to build datasets and generate analyses
CRM Administrator certification in Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Pardot, Experience Cloud) preferred
Experience working in electronic medical records systems (AthenaNet)
Experience effectively managing a team, delegating projects and tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Experience working in project management systems (Jira)
Experience building out processes that maximize usability of sales tools to ensure data integrity
Strong problem solving, multitasking and organizational skills
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize various work streams
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to present demonstrations and value-adds to parties from various perspectives and functions
Positive attitude and ability to project this around others
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
Must be a self-starter with strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Must exhibit passion for outstanding results and compassion for those we work with and serve
Additional Information
The Manager, Sales Operations & Analytics will report directly to Director, Corporate Medicine & Sales who may modify these responsibilities and activities to suit the needs of the department goals relating to client acquisition and to any adjustments in scope of service.
Direct Reports
The Analyst, Sales Operations will report directly to Manager, Sales Operations & Analytics.
