This role will be based out of our home office location in Bentonville, Arkansas. Please note that this role will not support immigration-related employment benefits such as H-1B, TN, L-1, or STEM Extension

As our Rx Returns and Pricing Manager, you'll lead the charge in optimizing our pharmacy operations.

As a Sam's Club Rx Returns and Pricing Manager you will:

  • Drive and ensure successful operation and execution of Pharmacy Returns processes by overseeing all financial transactions for pharmacy returns; oversee and approve supplier payback requests and dispute negotiations; establish and manage partnership with third-party processors to ensure proper execution; conduct quarterly business reviews with Health and Wellness leadership; audit third-party returns processors to ensure compliance with returns policies; consult and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on supplier agreements and outdated/aged returns; oversee the execution of special projects in pharmacy returns; and coordinate special item returns between stakeholders (for example, buyers, suppliers, stores).

  • Provide expertise in Pharmacy Returns to drive efficiencies by directing stakeholders (for example, Pharmacy Managers and Technicians) with returns processing; guiding all levels of management on proper product disposition; ensure all state and federal regulations and compliance guidelines on pharmacy returns and disposition are being met; conduct item data and outdated returns analyses; presenting senior leadership (for example, Market Director, Regional and Divisional leaders) with monthly store performance results, execution issues and best practices; work with Global Investigations team to investigate controlled substance losses; and train stakeholders on systems and processes in pharmacy returns.

  • Manage pharmacy recalls and post-audit claims by ensuring recalls are set up and programmed correctly in the system; ensuring the accurate processing of pharmacy recalls; analyze actual product returned in relation to affected recall product; inform pharmacy operators using data on store performance issues based on product recall analysis; review and ensure the validity of post-audit claims; approve post-audit claims for supplier deductions; and provide training; and feedback to internal and external audit teams.

  • Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs; and build commitment for perspectives and rationales.

  • Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identify business needs; determine and carry out necessary processes and practices; monitor progress and results; recognize and capitalize on improvement opportunities; and adapt to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.

  • Support Pharmacy Pricing Manager(s) with execution of pricing implementation processes.

  • Assist Pharmacy Pricing Managers with review of pricing strategies including modelling, analysis, and recommendations.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
