Position Summary

THIS ROLE IS HYBRID TO A CVS CORPORATE LOCATION

The Manager of Pharmacy Operations, Digital Product Owner, is a critical leader within Pharmacy Operations, charged with supporting a cross-functional team with operational expertise that enables the innovation of the digital patient experience in retail pharmacy. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the operational product expert to improve digital's ability to provide a better patient order status and self-service experience in our retail pharmacies while continuing to reduce friction for our patients. This role will provide the opportunity to contribute to a multi-year, consumer-obsessed roadmap that is critical to helping our team better set and reset expectations, achieve multi-million dollar goals, and improve the technology for our colleagues and customers.

Prior knowledge of retail pharmacy is important and candidates must have strong experience in RxConnect testing, customer outreach, digital experiences and business case development. This position requires strong collaboration skills as it is necessary to work cross functionally and influence our store teams, field leadership and internal business partners. You will work with the following groups: Digital, IS, Training & Change Management, Rx Growth, Patient Safety, Pharmacy Operations, Legal, & Field Leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Serving as a critical subject matter expert while developing business cases to support the valuation and prioritization of digital enhancements

  • Accurately analyzing operational data to support decision-making and provide cross-functional insights to the omnichannel team

  • Presenting and articulating conclusions and recommendations to senior leadership

  • Advising project teams on the creation of monitoring plans, stage gate criteria, and KPIs

  • Supporting project teams as needed with change management advice, field communications, and deployment plans

  • Delivering quality user stories, performing test validation, and production validations for new digital enhancements launching

  • Ensuring business needs are properly articulated by the project teams and understood cross-functionally

  • Mitigating conflicting design requirements and ensuring proposed digital capabilities cover various prescription order pathways in solutioning

  • Promoting project synergies across teams

  • Connecting teams with subject matter experts when scope is beyond expertise

  • Taking action on customer and colleague feedback

  • Evaluating and taking action on defect identification and remediation

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years' of experience in an Operations or Process Improvement role

  • 5+ years' of experience leading and building multi-pronged teams

  • 5+ years' experience and demonstrated success in delivering projects to support cross-functional initiatives

  • 5+ years' experience identifying and defining business problems and issues, developing strategic frameworks, building business cases, and measuring success

  • 5+ years' experience building and delivering leadership-facing presentations and materials

  • 5+ years' influencing without authority

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years' of experience in an Operations or Process Improvement role

  • 8+ years' of experience leading and building multi-pronged teams

  • 8+ years' experience and demonstrated success in delivering projects to support cross-functional initiatives

  • 8+ years' experience identifying and defining business problems and issues, developing strategic frameworks, building business cases, and measuring success

  • 8+ years' experience building and delivering leadership-facing presentations and materials

  • 8+ years' influencing without authority

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Strong time management skills, evidenced by experience being accountable to multiple deliverables on staggered deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal skills as demonstrated by successful collaboration to achieve shared goals

  • Strong communication skills in both formal and informal writing and speech

  • Proven track record of high performance

  • Regular and reliable attendance

  • Any additional tasks as directed by the supervisor or manager

  • Occasional travel may be required

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience

  • Supervisory experience with a direct report

  • Experience implementing system enhancements throughout the software development lifecycle, preferably with an enhancement that impacted the retail pharmacy intake process

  • Experience in pharmacy operations

  • Masters Degree

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $152,600.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
