This position is responsible for the performance, facilitation, and supervision of the daily retail operations at the Ogden Wildcat Store. In correlation with the Wildcat Store Director, develops the overall operational strategy for the store and implements operational plans to drive sales, profitability, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Ensures that store goals, sales events, projects, and staffing needs are met and adheres to approved budgets.
Responsible for day-to-day operations for the Ogden store:
Supervise managers, buyers, hourly staff, and salespeople.
Hire/schedule/train/terminate and assign duties.
Manage the customer service Payment Plan process.
Supervise managers in events/promotions and operations.
Benchmark and train managers
Coordinate scheduling and staffing for the store.
Manage and coordinate with HR/Faculty Reps and GM buyer to provide the two annual service awards programs.
Manage and coordinate with faculty and staff, President's office, marketing, vendor, and Commencement Committee in providing cap/gowns for graduates and faculty staff.
Coordinate personnel and logistics with the Grad Finale committee.
Manage store Course Materials, Sundries, Gifts, Apparel, Insignia, Technology, and Supplies.
Manage Staples' contract
Coordinate and provide supervision of the logistics of the quarterly and annual inventory for the Ogden store.
