Job Description:

This individual will be an instrumental team member of the Clarity Team, supporting both technology enablers and business process to ensure the organization has visibility into the resources needed to execute the portfolio, the resources available, and any gap that exists between the two. This person will assess current technology systems, recommend and drive improvements in partnership with IT. This person will be a partner, bridging the technical aspects of the Clarity System with IT partners, and the end-user; including users that load information; and users that consume the information. This person will work to ensure data integrity, visibility and credibility for senior leadership. They will foster and administer the network of superusers, ensure a lean & effective update cycle, expand system use to additional functions, and integrate resource data with other systems (financial, quality & compliance, clinical operations, and so on).

As a member of the Clarity System Team, you will be called upon as a SME, supporting Users in the different functions of Biogen (PO&T, R&D and Regulatory). This person will be expected to both advocate for user needs, but also balance those needs with system realities (scalability, stability, etc.)

This person will be a resource for users with trouble-shooting, algorithm development and template development. This person will engage with users to determine optimal algorithm usage and facilitate the development/build/test/validate process with users and the vendor IT Team

This will person will have an opinion on the business process and practices, toward an improved capability, and work collaboratively as a member of the Clarity team towards the success of the entire platform.


  • 5-7 years pharmaceutical or biotechnology drug development experience

  • 5 7 years IT / technology and business process experience. In-depth experience with the Planisware software is highly desirable.

  • Strong experience with developing / building / implementing, administering and managing complex resource allocation systems, leveraging algorithms.

  • Ability to successfully manage outsourced resources & vendors

  • Ability to influence stakeholders without authority

  • Experienced with agile principles and business process improvement methods


Bachelor's Degree required, MBA or Masters in IT or Life Sciences preferred
