The Manager, Reporting Analytics and Technology is responsible for driving data and analysis informed decisions, managing all data and operations information collection on targeted variables on a systematic and standardized fashion for multiple areas of the CCA Service division, across various US markets.

The Reporting Analytics and Technology Team creates analytical tools to help identify trends and actionable insights from key performance drivers and leading indicators for CCA Service Center Division in partnership with other stakeholders.

Reporting to the Director of Business Strategy and Technology, this position manages the execution of strategic and creative data analytic approaches leading to actionable outcomes by reviewing data design and analysis; overseeing the analysis of metrics; defining, calculating, and validating algorithms; reviewing and approving results of analyses; and providing technical support on complex analyses including inferential and/or predictive statistics.

  • Manages designated work unit by translating business plans into tactical action items; ensuring all policies and procedures are followed; delegating tasks to meet objectives; responsible for the completion of unit work assignments; aligning team efforts; building performance accountability and measuring progress.

  • Manages the development, implementation, and automation of reporting solutions for all business areas within the CCA Service Division by partnering with stakeholders to ensure their design, planning, and implementation needs are being met while ensuring consistency and coherency of output; reviewing and delivering measurable results; ensuring data reports, dashboards, visualizations, and/or interactive Business Intelligence (BI) reports meet organization and regulators standards.

  • Reporting to executive-level and division stakeholders on key findings and data analysis, while finding needs for the development and implementation of additional reporting solutions.

  • Responsible for finding and tackling improvement opportunities; reporting and removing obstacles that may adversely impact performance; and developing contingency plans accordingly.

  • Manages the development, implementation, and automation of business and reporting solutions, while overseeing data analysis interpretation.

  • Manages strategic data-informed decisions by consulting with organizational leaders to identify and clarify key business needs across Service Operations [Member Services, Provider Services, Member Experience, Member Communication, Training and Quality] functional areas and/or clinical lines; managing outcomes and process measures; collecting and reviewing the translation of business requirements; determining data/information needs and data collection methods; leading the development of analysis plans; reviewing the impact of business decisions on members, providers and other CCA internal stakeholders; collaborating with clients and staff to identify opportunities and methods to improve efficiencies with analysis; ensuring end-users are supported and trained; and reviewing documentation of processes and deliverables.

  • Manages data analysis interpretation by reviewing findings and their application to contextual settings; reviewing insights, reports, and creating high- quality presentations to effectively communicate a compelling story for key stakeholders to enable and influence decision making; across multiple leadership levels of the business and organization, while sharing insights with internal and/or external audiences

  • Manages data preparation for analytic efforts by integrating and merging information from multiple data sources; ensuring data quality, integrity and accuracy; approving process improvements and recommending system changes to enhance overall quality of the data; escalating issues to ensure remediation as appropriate; and reviewing complex or high-profile data sets.

  • Manages data and information collection on targeted variables in a systematic and scalable fashion by reviewing and approving data sources; supplying guidance on data collection methods and analysis; leading routine data refresh and update; reviewing the development and/or delivery of tools for electronic data collection; ensuring users are trained and supported; and auditing documentation.

  • Partner with operators, leaders, front line staff and product managers to define business problems and help design analytically rigorous solutions.

  • Ability to take complicated problems and create simple, analytical frameworks.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, high ownership of work product value, and commitment to driving reliable results.

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Medicare and Medicaid principles, data analytics, and related health care industry concepts.

  • Troubleshoot operational data issues and communicate to business stakeholders on data issue.

  • Must be an initiative-taker, highly business focused, can work effectively within a team environment.

  • Partners closely with Infrastructure, CCA IT/Data teams, and software vendors to deploy solutions in Azure Cloud, Tableau, Nice and CRM environments.

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Social/Physical/Life Science, Business, or related field

  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.

  • Minimum four (3) years in data analytics or directly related field.

  • Expertise with SQL, Excel, and Tableau (or similar visualization tools)

Desired

  • Master's Degree in mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Social/Physical/Life Science, Business, or related field

  • Minimum six (6) years progressive corporate, non-profit, or consulting experience, including additional equivalent work experience in a directly related field may be substituted for the degree requirement.

  • Superior in Excel, including strong modeling capability; CRM, Qualtrics, and data warehouse (EDW) experience preferred

  • Statistical Programming Language

  • Experience with R, Python, or another statistical programming language is a plus.
