ResponsibilitiesLocations: Any Systems Office (Phoenix AZ, Sacramento or Pasadena CA)

Position Summary:
Provides leadership, management, and coordination related to the government reimbursement services of Dignity Health. Ensures timely and accurate financial and governmental reporting by managing the reimbursement program according to relevant policy terms and conditions. Identifies and implements strategies, policies, procedures and programs for all aspects of reimbursement management practices. Monitors and communicates federal and state regulatory proposals and changes regarding healthcare reimbursement and provides effective solutions to address reimbursement service needs. Oversees, evaluates and improves the productivity and performance of staff members. Principal Duties and Accountabilities:
  • Manages the healthcare organization's reimbursement activities and initiatives, to ensure timely and accurate finical reporting.

  • Identifies and implements strategies, policies, procedures and programs for all aspects of reimbursement management practices.

  • Monitors and communicates federal and state regulatory proposals and changes regarding healthcare reimbursement and providing effective solutions to address reimbursement issues.

  • Manages the productivity and performance of reimbursement staff members.

QualificationsEducation and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of intensive experience with Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, two (2) years of net revenue experience and minimum of two (2) years of management experience.

Job Summary: As a Senior Property Field Manager, you will be accountable for a team of Field Property Managers and Adjusters. The team will be responsible for meeting with customers at their home to investigate, assess and facilitate remediation and repair decisions on residential property damage claims. You will be required to create a high performing culture that supports superior customer service, overall accuracy, and appropriate "urgency" at all times within this team. Superior verbal and written communication skills are needed as you communicate the goals, job objectives, performance results, and other key initiatives in both individual and team wide settings. Ability to lead, coach and develop your team toward successful performance and behaviors. This position is part of the Senior Claims Leadership team and reports directly to the Vice President of Claims. What are the duties and responsibilities of this position: Accurately evaluating estimates, file quality and behavioral skills are critical components of the position. Creating a strong work environment by providing appropriate coaching and feedback while being flexible where appropriate. Data analytics and field reporting will be enhanced significantly within the Claims operation in 2019 and this position will be at the forefront of helping to build and create that platform. Developing and managing an improved Field Quality Assurance program will be a priority in 2019. Responsible for overseeing the interviewing and selection of candidates as well as on-boarding of new hires. Will manage current and new vendors as a job duty. Responsible for compliance with State insurance regulations and Company HR guidelines at all times. Additional responsibilities include oversight and execution of the Claims subrogation process and maximizing salvage recovery for the company. Your ability to build rapport while holding the team accountable for results is a critical skill required in this position. You must be able to work independently and be open to coaching and feedback. What background, credentials and skills are needed to be successful in this position: * College degree and/or prior applicable work experience required * Strong leadership skills and prior documented high performance results are required * Bilingual in Spanish a plus * Having a current California adjuster license a plus * (This position requires new hires to obtain their appropriate state licenses during the first year of employment - costs to obtain are eligible for company reimbursement) * Strong analytical skills * Ability to make timely and accurate decisions * Strong negotiation skills * Ability to work independently with minimal oversight * Comfortable working in a fast paced team oriented environment * Ability to successfully and diplomatically communicate accordingly Requirements * Xactimate/Xactanalysis proficiency * Construction knowledge as it relates to residential Property * Successful Leadership/Manager experience in leading and developing other Leaders/Managers * Vendor relationship and management experience * Preferred experience and understanding of Salvage process – Auto (including Motorcycle, ATV, PWC, etc.) and Property * Preferred experience and understanding of Subrogation process * Prior Leadership experience in the Property/Casualty Claims field/industry * Must have a valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record for this position * Travel 25%.
