Responsibilities

The Manager, Sales Enablement supports the Director, Sales Enablement & Communications in the ongoing development and execution of field sales enablement initiatives. The goal is to improve the field organizations ability to achieve their sales goals.

This includes the adoption of the Brookdale sales methodology, related processes, and tools. This role will work collaboratively with Sales Leadership, Training & Development, and other corporate and field stakeholders in support of Community Sales Professionals. The goal of this position is to increase sales results and productivity by working as a part of Brookdale's sales process and tools center of excellence.

Support the Director, Sales Enablement & Communications to identify and prioritize needed field sales support and enablement initiatives. Identify opportunities for sales process improvement with a particular focus on the Community Sales Professionals.

Assist in the creation of new tools for sales process improvement. Manage the sales enablement content repository (BigTinCan) and ensure that all information is easily accessible and up-to-date at the point of need. Communicate frequently with the Training & Development team to ensure methodology and related content is integrated into training programs.

Create and manage scorecards that relate to field sales initiatives and programs.

Communicate with internal stakeholders to understand different aspects of the business and how they relate to the field sales roles. Handle first-level field questions and support needs related to sales processes and tools.

Support development of sales communication initiatives and ensure their timely completion. Support the synthesis of feedback from high-performers to identify, codify, and communicate emerging best practices. Assist with implementation of sales enablement initiatives in the field, including alignment across various field sales channels and forums.

Utilize established sales processes, systems, and forms to perform job duties, track information, compile data/reports and achieve community occupancy goals. Maintain strong knowledge of lead management (SMS) and sales reporting (dashboards) to maximize sales effectiveness. This role may supervise the activities of Associates at the Coordinator level.

Qualifications

Education and ExperienceFour-year college degree from an accredited institution. Minimum 2-3 years in a corporate sales support or enablement role; direct sales experience a plus.

Project management experience and detail orientation required. Experience with CRM and content management systems preferred. Strong writing and communication skills. Capable of managing time and tasks in a dynamic environment.

Management/Decision MakingApplies existing guidelines and procedures to make varied decisions within a department. Uses sound judgment and experience to solve moderately complex problems based on precedent, example, reasonableness or a combination of these.

Knowledge and SkillsPossesses extensive knowledge of a distinct skill or function and a thorough understanding of the organization and work environment. Has working knowledge of a functional discipline.

Knowledge of sales and marketing to include principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling products or services to include marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Knowledge of state regulations impacting or directing the delivery of services. Ability to operate smartphones, personal computers, and related software.

Ability to effectively manage time, tasks and projects in a dynamic environment is required. Ability to build trust and act honestly in relationships with others. Ability to assess and understand customers' expectations, needs and circumstances.

Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and to treat people with dignity, respect, fairness and maturity. Ability to effectively listen and communicate verbally and in writing is essential.

Responsibilities The Coordinator, DDS Enablement supports the Manager, DDS Enablement in the ongoing execution of front-line sales management practices across the Brookdale field sales organization. The goal is to help improve quality sales coaching as well as reinforce strong sales management process knowledge and skills in the DDS, Divisional Director, and Operations partner roles. The role will support a data-driven approach to increase the effectiveness and productivity of sales management through a variety of enablement activities, including formal and informal training, coaching, development of various jobs aids, playbooks, and other tools. Within the "DDS Center of Excellence", this role will work to improve company sales results while working collaboratively with other functions. Support the development and implementation of sales enablement initiatives specific to the DDS population. Collect and analyze data to identify trends and process improvement opportunities to increase DDS effectiveness and productivity. Support the collection and interpretation of sales reporting related to the DDS role; identify opportunities for future enhancements. Serve as subject matter expert working with Analytics team on enhanced reporting tools to assess DDS productivity and effectiveness, including related to key coaching skills and behaviors. Assist in the creation of training for the DDS population on coaching and sales management best practices. Support successful onboarding for new external hire DDSs and promotions from within the field sales organization. Assist the Manager, DDS Enablement on the internal communications specific to the DDS team. Support the feedback loop between field stakeholders and internal corporation functions.
