As a Regional Manager in the Regional Solutions Network, you hold the important role of being the business leader overseeing sales, engineering, and project delivery personnel. Your primary responsibilities include hiring, developing, and supporting a highly skilled team of professionals who offer automation solutions to clients in your regional market. Working closely with each employee, you will ensure their proficiency and efficiency within their respective roles, while maintaining adherence to established policies and procedures. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading the development of new accounts, engaging in customer contract negotiations, and continuously improving both internal and external processes.
Additional responsibilities of the Management role include:
- Developing and executing strategic plans for the regional office, aligning them with the overall business objectives and targets. This involves setting goals, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), and creating actionable plans to achieve them.
- Building and leading a high-performing team of professionals, including sales engineers, project engineers, and project managers. This involves hiring and developing talented individuals, assigning responsibilities, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Operations and Project Management
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the regional office, including project management, resource allocation, and budgeting. Ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, on schedule, and within budget, while maintaining quality standards and client satisfaction.
- Help with the identification and pursuit of business opportunities in the region, such as new projects, partnerships, and client relationships. This includes helping sales engineers conduct market research, lead generation, proposal development, and negotiation of contracts.
- You will help the sales engineers build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction with the services provided by the Regional Office. This involves effective communication, regular updates, and proactive problem-solving.
- Performance Accountability
- The Regional Manager is responsible for understanding the key performance indicators for each role under their supervision and providing coaching and feedback to help employees grow in their career.
- As the leader of a business unit, you will be tasked with building relationships inside and outside of the company. The Regional Office will regularly work with Internal Departments as well as third party vendors, and the Regional Manager is critical to effective collaboration with these groups.
- Outside of the day to day duties, the Regional Manager will help support continuous improvement initiatives that help the business improve client satisfaction and efficiency of internal processes.
- Regional Managers play a crucial role in assisting their sales engineers in identifying project opportunities with potential risks and challenges.
