Regional Revenue Manager
Monitors group and transient business thresholds within five-year forecast to ensure measurable improvements of demand and availability. Supplies critical analysis on the effects of short-range decisions affecting occupancy, average rate, and room profit goals within current 53-week period. Analysis city events and activities projecting the effect of possible opportunities.
Analyzes short and long term forecasting,adjust pricing strategies. Conducts weekly revenue meetings. Provides critical analysis of strategies, room statistics and demand factors: Reviews end of month rental statistics reports including monthly revenue management reports, operations reports, and provides critical analysis on performance vs. forecasts, budget and results of implemented strategies.
Conducts displacement analysis of group business as needed to determine impact potential business will have on REVPAR.
Review tentative and definite group bookings to ensure support of implemented strategies. Monitors daily and weekly booking pace reports recommending strategy changes as needed. Analyzes past and present .Competitive and demand analysis: Reviews all competitive shop reports (Rubicon) two to three times per week, identifying market demand and appropriate selling strategies to maximize revenue.
Reviews demand calendars, convention calendars and city event calendars to keep abreast of all demand generators.
Site competitive set and network with competitive set revenue managements. Maintains historical data on events and performance on any promotions during demand-generating events.
Minimum 2-3 years or related revenue experience
Minimum 2-3 years experience as a Hotel Revenue Manager
Must have hospitality experience
Must be able to work in a face paced environment
Must have excellent communication skills
Must be able to communicate to all levels of the organization
