The Division of Talent and Labor Relations seeks to build a strong community of mission-aligned talent dedicated to providing a world-class education to Camden students. The Manager, Recruitment & Staffing, will lead Camden City School District's Division of Talent and Labor Relations recruitment, supporting the goal to attract and retain high-quality talent. The Manager will develop and implement recruitment & staffing strategies that build and improve upon existing processes, in concert with identifying and executing best practices in recruitment, talent management and work to support hiring managers throughout the district in selecting the best possible talent for CCSD students.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is required
Minimum of 2 years of full cycle recruiting experience preferably in high demand position
Fluency in Microsoft and Google programs including, Microsoft Word, Access and PowerPoint; Google Docs, Sheets, Slides
Working knowledge of local, state and federal, employment laws
A valid driver's license as well as current insurance and vehicle with valid registration
Required criminal history background check, physical and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
Other duties as assigned.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Major responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
Recruitment and Staffing of Paraprofessionals
Design recruitment strategy to increase pipeline of highly-qualified paraprofessionals
Manage and execute on hiring process for paraprofessionals
Monitor vacancies and develop retention strategies for paraprofessionals
Track and manage paraprofessional compliance with Title I requirements
Facilitate paraprofessional placements throughout the year
Update hiring managers on paraprofessional vacancies and pipeline movements
Monitor recruitment metrics and communicate status to quantify time to fill, interview to placement and attrition ratios to manage talent partner expectations.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Supervisor's designee
Part-time and Temporary Employee Support
Review and process requests for part-time employees and temporary employees
Update roster to ensure all part-time employees and temporary employees are properly accounted for in the District
Manage vendor relations for temporary employee support, including contract management
Collect part-time services agreements for all part-time employees
Substitute and Vendor Management
Develop and execute strategies that ensure there are sufficient number of substitutes to cover daily and long-term teacher absences
Draft and distribute District policies and procedures for ordering and managing substitute coverage
Monitor and report on substitute fill-rates based on school, substitute type and absence type
Serve as point of contact t for internal and external stakeholders regarding daily substitute needs (Substitutes Vendor, School Leader)
Develop tools and protocols to ensure that school leaders are properly prepared to support and welcome substitutes
Coordinate with school leaders or designee to ensure faculty provides appropriate substitute teachers with in class instructions daily (Lesson Plans, Classroom Materials);
Assist with all functions related substitutes teachers, first day of school activities and protocol
Monitor daily substitute absence report analyzing trends, irregularities and timely request (personal, sick, professional day)
Request substitute coverage for vacancies; Cancel cover for vacancies filled
Managing assigned vendor invoices to include weekly bill reconciliation and funding status ensuring on-time payments to vendor;
