Anti Diversion Investigator Role
QRA Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction over multiple job families or areas of expertise within the QRA function.
Execute all applicable site visits as required.
Schedule, prepare for, and thoroughly complete, all assigned QRA investigations in a timely manner.
Promptly submit an inclusive and objective, fact based, written report that requires minimal to no editing/revision, and delivers the relevant facts from which CAH can properly assess a customer's controlled substance business.
Ensure collaboration across all Anti Diversion teams, field sales teams, regulatory compliance teams, and customers, to ensure the investigation process continues to meet Anti Diversion program expectations.
Exercise sound logistical and financial decision making when scheduling work and batching visits to drive efficiency and savings from a cost per visit standpoint.
Take opportunities to participate in continuing education sessions, training programs, or industry conferences, to continue to develop skills and obtain knowledge relevant to local and national drug diversion trends.
Support Anti Diversion team members in obtaining needed data elements and follow up customer discussions.
Provide information and support regarding adherence to Anti Diversion program and applicable regulations.
Apply thought leadership and expertise to assess, evaluate, manage, mitigate and balance risk and enhance Anti Diversion program performance.
Participate in Anti Diversion program enhancement initiatives involving threshold management, objective criteria, national average data use, data gathering, and site visit process improvement opportunities.
Monitor federal, state, and local regulatory agency activities within assigned region.
Serve as liaison with local, state and federal government agencies.
Bachelors in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
8+ years experience in related field, preferred
Prior experience/knowledge of controlled substance regulations, including those promulgated by DEA and State Boards of Pharmacy, preferred
Prior experience with high level communications, problem resolution, analytical thinking, preferred
Prior experience with investigative work, or law enforcement experience, preferred

Manages department operations and provides leadership and support of Anti Diversion program to key stakeholders
Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to independently manage Anti Diversion program requirements
Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals
Provides solutions which may set precedent
Receives guidance on overall program objectives
Operates within the guidelines of the Anti Diversion program
Decisions have a short-term impact on work processes, outcomes, and customers
Interacts with peers, customers, and management at various levels including senior management
Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
Manages a geography/territory that may require driving distances and routine flying.
