Manages the Quality team who has responsibility for operational and external audit programs.
Additional responsibilities include:
Develops corrective action plans for audit findings requiring correction.
Develops measures and metrics that are industry tested and works with internal staff to achieve them.
Achieves corporate goals and customer expectations in an effective and efficient manner with respect to operational accuracy. Reduces variation in practices for sampling, auditing and measuring quality performance.
Sets vision for operational excellence in operational accuracy.
Meets cost targets as established in corporate goals.
Sets budgets with quantified assumptions that are tracked and met every year.
Understands the competitive landscape with constant awareness of external and internal expectations to perform accordingly.
Staffs key resource roles with competent, creative and proven employees/leaders.
Manages communication within and outside the division in an open and transparent manner to garner optimum understanding and support for quality practices.
Keeps a pulse on employee engagement/satisfaction and advocates for employee importance as a member of the corporate executive team.
Keeps quality programs current and competitive.
Assures correctness in reporting performance.
Coordinates third party audits emanating from external or internal sources. Assure compliance with regulations in documentation and quality practices.
Follows a documented/established quality program; assures it is industry strong and effective.
Assures adherence to corporate policies in operational practice.
