POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Manager, Publisher Development Mobile Apps, to help prospect, manage, service, retain, and maximize revenue opportunities with new publishing partners. The successful applicant will be responsible for identifying and engaging new publishing partners, cross-departmental assistance with onboarding and technical integration, and initial management of publisher base.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prospect, assess, onboard, and initiate technical integration of direct publishing partners.
  • Help develop and implement efficient and effective procedures related to the discovery, implementation, and testing of new publishing partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and pursue long term relationships with clients.
  • As appropriate, represent AdAction at designated trade shows and conferences.
  • Utilize Salesforce to maintain account records and manage prospecting efforts.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients to internally escalate any concerns and reasonable requests.
  • Translate client objectives into action items for the Ad Operations and Performance Media teams.
  • Monitor daily metrics, program performance, and traffic quality to identify areas for growth and improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Motivated individual, with a positive attitude, who consistently strives to achieve goals in a manner exceeding expectations
  • 1-3 years of experience in prospecting, managing, and closing a sales cycle
  • Basic understanding of SDK integration and mobile ad serving
  • Ability to effectively communicate with developers and engineers around the world
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work well independently, in team environment, and cross-departmentally
  • Must be results-oriented and possess an entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in a demanding, fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to multitask, problem solve, and think critically
  • Willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend industry events (2-4 times per year)
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, functions, etc.) are requiredyou will be tested!
  • BA/BS required

Our data centers are the foundation upon which our innovative services are delivered, and our rapidly scaling infrastructure operates. The GDCC team delivers infrastructure connectivity for Facebook's global data centers, using the latest fiber, cabling, and ISP materials to deliver the physical infrastructure that connects the world to our services, videos, feeds, and other information offered on Facebook's global network. The Partner Development Operations Manager role has global responsibility for collaborating on the development and optimization of the Global Data Center Connectivity (GDCC) workforce. This role is critical for the growth of the team and includes partnering with cross-functional teams on organization planning, recruiting, on-boarding, training, and ongoing operational efficiencies. The delivery will require the development and maintenance of metrics to monitor and communicate the health of our development programs. This role is full-time and can be located in either Menlo Park, CA; Ashburn, VA; or Denver, CO, to support teams in North America, Europe, and APAC. RESPONSIBILITIES * Operational Efficiency – workforce resourcing, operational planning, managing/overseeing new product introduction into field operations/data centers. Operational Resource Planning - Collaborate with GDCC Leaders on partner initiatives, planning, and prioritization to support Facebook's long-range plan. Collaborate with vendor teams to allocate and optimize design, material, and construction resources. Resource Planning - Serve as GDCC's primary point of contact to align the business planning with partner team resourcing. Organizational Development - Lead growth and development initiatives across GDCC and Vendor organizations with a focus on-boarding, learning platforms & training, and other programs targeting operational efficiency. Field Development & Monitoring – Develops and applies metrics to identify and prioritize opportunities for learnings and improvement across our installation partners. Travel - 25-30% to data center sites. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * 10+ years of people management experience in an operations capacity or construction industry 5+ years of experience with any of the following industries: high tech, information technology, networking, data center, or related field Financial experience in managing partner operations/cost structure Experience in network/product introduction/implementations across a global footprint Experience communicating operational program updates to organizational leadership Vendor management experience Organizational development experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or similar degree Experience working with trade unions Organized and detail-oriented Facebook Denver CO
