The Manager, Public Relations and Media, leads, plans, and manages the public relations and media programs to support strategic goals, system marketing and public relations plans for the enterprise, including the hospital and its strategic partners / affiliates. The Manager supports the strategic plan of the Hospital and overall enterprise / brand strategy by providing leadership and direction to management and line staff within identified departments as well as affiliate locations.
The Manager is typically responsible for multiple departments, strategic initiatives and/or vendors and offsite teams. The Manager is responsible for ensuring the achievement of performance targets and strategic initiatives by setting and meeting operational and enterprise goals that are consistent with the mission, vision and values of the organization. This position may require flexibility of hours.
Education: Bachelor's degree or certification in public relations or communication. Experience/Training: Minimum five years of public relations experience or related experience.
Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, flexible, and organized. A quick thinker with sound judgment.
