Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. Manned C2ISR Manager Project Management is the functional manager for administrative assistants and admin functional support personnel within the IPT. Responsibilities include calendar and event coordination, facility planning and coordination, resource management, coordination of NCTA and capital plans and expenditures, monthly metrics reporting, and cost account management.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or similar field of study

  • Program Scheduling and Budgeting Experience

  • Ability to Obtain and Maintain a US DoD Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Resource Management Experience

  • Joint STARS Knowledge and Experience

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Technical Services Project Management 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida. Successful candidate will be a Project Manager responsible for assisting the assigned Directorate Engineering team in the professional services arena. They will represent the assigned Directorate Engineering as they coordinate with the Director, Department Managers, and Section Managers to analyze and identify department trends, needs, and potential trends in training, funding, and other department metrics (to include staffing). Additional Responsibilities: * Assist with tracking and facilitating delivery of Directorate actions; audit and employee records; and manage delivery of items to schedule * Assist with establishing and managing common approaches, templates, and tools for delivering data from our Directorate to requesting organizations or Leadership. * Assist the assigned Directorate Engineering with training requirements to ensure personnel are provided timely training thru logistics and planning to achieve training within budget and on schedule. Coordinate with the managers they will assist with the development of the metrics necessary to report to MAD CoE Leadership. * Facilitate Directorate Engineering training requirements by assisting with obtaining facilities to include instructors, software installation, etc. * Assist with all aspects of Directorate Engineering staffing to include Onboarding, Clearance tracking, UR&R status, Hiring Events. Conduct weekly status meeting to maintain staffing tool compliance and accuracy in support of MAD CoE staffing metrics. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration (or similar) with 4 years of experience; or 2 years with Masters; or 1 year with PhD * Understanding of logistics and planning processes * Successful leadership history over logistics or administrative-type teams * Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. Preferred Qualifications: * Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute work tasks in a rapidly changing, fast paced environment * Skills to develop & status department operations performance * Full understanding of the logistics and planning processes * Understanding of hiring/talent acquisition process as it relates to Systems Engineering skills * Good communication and interpersonal skills * Skilled in the use of Excel * Experience in the Military Aerospace development environment * Current DoD Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
