Purpose:

On a small or medium project, leads the project information management team to promote optimized project delivery through the project lifecycle, through use of Worley's agreed project delivery toolsets. Provides effective leadership and communication

to ensure customer requirements for life-cycle information management are met. Responsible for the overall information management strategy to support a project's execution and delivery to customer requirements. Coordinates of the implementation and the integration of Project Delivery Systems across all functions and disciplines.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the execution of project's information management scope, reporting to the

Project Manager / Digital Execution Manager. This includes development and implementation

of the Project Systems & Information Management Plan, software selection, software

implementation and associated resource plans to meet project contractual requirements.

Responsible for delivering the information management scope of a project through the project

life cycle (engineering and design, construction, commissioning and completions)

Coordinates with all management and discipline leads covering all project functions to plan and

oversee a project's lifecycle information management

Coordinates the implementation and the integration of Project Delivery Systems across all

functions and disciplines

Management of the project's team of IM Analysts and Data Coordinators and responsible for

the project's information policy, strategies, specifications, plans and procedures

Assures, through periodic reviews, that the project's data quality objectives are being met.

Job Specific Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of the engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) lifecycle and related

project execution disciplines, including engineering, project controls, procurement, construction

management and commissioning

Good knowledge of the EPC information lifecycle and all related project information

management disciplines including engineering design systems, engineering data management

systems, document management systems, project systems (estimating, project controls,

procurement, construction management, commissioning systems) and information technology

with specific expertise in one or more of these disciplines

A strong understanding of engineering data management, including database technologies, data

presentation, project data lifecycles and project data domains

Experience of coordinating, or participating in, networks and forums

Experience with facilitating workshops in a mixed office / virtual environment

Demonstrated understanding of learning and knowledge management techniques and

methodologies highly desirable

Sound understanding of business analysis techniques and methods to extract requirements,

document processes and translate business needs into functional outputs.

Demonstrated experience with working with technical solutions experts to translate functional

requirements into robust fit-for-purpose technical solutions.

Knowledgeable in data-centric execution

Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and an ability to deal with conflicting priorities in a

busy environment

IT Skills:

Skilled in Microsoft Office

  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Power suite (including Power

BI) and ability to design, retrieve data, and produce dashboards using Microsoft Office tools

Ability to learn new systems in an autonomous fashion

Good understanding of broader systems, processes and tools related to project information

management. May be involved in the development of new systems, processes and tools.

Knowledge in ITIL process required and Certification preferred.

stakeholders, deal with strict deadlines, able to prioritize workloads, and help other team

members to achieve team goals

Education

  • Qualifications, Accreditation, Training

Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Scrum/agile methodologies is advantageous

12 years' experience delivering project information management scope in the

resources industry, with 10 years of relevant supervisory, project management and/or

technical experience.

This role is located in California

Salary Range $139,368-$204,953

This is a project role that may require outside normal business hours meetings on occasion.
