Job Overview:

The Manager, Program Management will provide leadership to the personnel of the Program Management function and share expertise cross-functionally, manage the Program Management function for customer planning, service, and support activities, establish and meet key performance indicators, and develop business within the program and manage client relationship. This position will report directly to the Executive Vice President. Located at Unigen Headquarters in Newark, CA.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
1.Manage the Program Management function for customer planning, service and support activities to align with customer requirements and timelines: ensure key processes are established, documented, and followed across all customer programs; organize, plan and direct program schedules and budgets; oversee all customer programs and interdepartmental activities, ensuring completion of all commitments made relative to product development timelines, delivery, quality and the required business metrics; develop cost recovery strategies according to program performance and implement cost reduction plans;
2.Establish and meet key performance indicators (KPI's): Customer On-Time Delivery, Excess Inventory, Customer Satisfaction, QBR and others; prepare and present quarterly program review presentations which address performance metrics;
3.Develop business within the program: effectively manage product margin, quotation and pricing, drive E&O resolution, propose business solutions, drive changes within the program;
4.Develop and manage client relationships: learn client business, identify service needs; plan service delivery and drive use of proactive service and support mechanisms to reduce client downtime and support costs;
5.Lead and manage the personnel of the Program Management function: manage Program Management team for all NPI, OEM, ODM, and CM projects; select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function; delegate and assign tasks and projects; plan, coordinate, control and support the work of the Program Management team;
6.Provide leadership and share expertise cross-functionally: communicate with customers to resolve customer issues; document tasks and control cross-functional adherence to the documentation process; provide support and training to new or existing cross functional team members in company's change management processes as needed; educate internal and external customers on industry standards and best practices;
7.Perform other duties and tasks related to Program Management function, as assigned.

Essential Job Requirements &

1.B.S. or B.A,
2.Minimum 5 years of Program Manager work experience in Manufacturing,
3.Minimum 3 years of business development work experience in EMS environment,
4.Mid-level to Advanced knowledge of Excel,
5.Good understanding of Backlog and MRP/ERP systems,
6.Working knowledge of PLM systems.
