Secret Raytheon IIS has an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Program Contracts to support the U.S.
Air Force North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex Integrated Tactical Warning/Attach Assessment (NCMC-ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract (NISSC) program located in Colorado Springs, CO.
This role will report directly to the Mission Systems Sr.
The NISSC Program is a high-visibility assignment, providing Sustainment and Operations, Maintenance and Services (OM&S) support to the NORAD mission.
The successful candidate with will have the ability to collaborate closely with the Program Director and personnel at all levels, to produce contractual results, within the framework of Raytheon Policies and Procedures.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily administration of the NISSC IDIQ contract, including Request for Proposal (RFP) assessment, capture, and proposal strategy, negotiations, and performance compliance.
This position will be a key customer interface for contracting matters and will be responsible for establishing and maintaining trust and cooperation with the U.S.
The selected candidate will advise program management of contractual rights and obligations and means to mitigate contractual/program risks, as well as other tasks as assigned by MS Sr.
Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S.
This position will be located in Colorado Springs, CO.
Requirements : 10+ years of applicable experience with Contracts ideally in a govt contractor environment Must be a U.S.
Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance Experience and knowledge of the FAR and DFAR and acquisition policies and procedures Demonstrated Sole Source Negotiation experience Experience with applying legal aspects of Government acquisition to the contract management function.
Experience developing solutions to unusual and complex contracting issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Existing Secret Clearance Experience and in-depth knowledge of change management Comfortable presenting contracts and business related topics to Mission Area and Business Leadership in a high visibility role Customer-focused with the ability to build strong customer relationships Supervisory Skills Ability to research compliance issues, applicable regulations and laws, and formulate recommendations to management Knowledge of contract terms and conditions Strong knowledge of company policies and procedures Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and proactive involvement in issues and a desire to drive problems to resolution Ability to offer innovative approaches to problem solving and develop solutions to contracting issues in leading all phases of the acquisition cycle Required Education (including Major): Bachelors degree in Business, law, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience (Bachelor Degree = 8 years of additional applicable experience) 111534 Raytheon is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
