We are seeking a Product Management Manager to join the Deloitte Global Cyber Security Services practice supporting product management commitments within Global Technology Services. The incumbent will work closely with the other Global technology groups, leadership and member firm technology teams to create product road maps and lead product development efforts. He/she will manage efforts to support the strategic direction, operations, and maintenance for assigned products or applications. This includes tracking business metrics (operating costs and road map), documenting and defining services/products meet the standards, and interfacing with customers and key stakeholders.
Work you'll do:
Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Cyber Security Services, this is an internal consultative role working alongside the leaders across the organization. Core areas of responsibility include:
Primary responsibilities include:
Manages the design and development aspects of cybersecurity products and services.
Drives global implementations for technology and service enhancements.
Accountable for delivering end-to-end technology solutions in line with strategic business objectives with input for product and channel leads.
Works with other Product Managers and Service Owners to drive quality, operational excellence, and customer focus
Consults with business leaders, IT business representatives and customers to ensure an understanding of requirements and their alignment to future strategic direction of the business/functions.
Provide technical insight, oversight, strategic context, direction, and leadership.
Ensures that requirements are properly completed and documented.
Manages project execution, resource deployment, and overall coordination efforts to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Executes the change management processes, resolves complex issues, and mitigates risks over the lifecycle of a product. Escalates issues, risks, and decisions to the Product Innovation Lead or other stakeholders as necessary and develop mitigating actions.
Monitors progress and status of deliverables. Monitors competitive products both internally and externally and understands business and industry direction to determine and provide advice on product future.
Ensures standards, procedures, and methodologies in the development life cycle are followed. Identifies and proposes opportunities for improvement. Develops project documentation with input and collaboration with PMO, including project initiation documentation, project plan, and resource plan.
Ensures resources assigned to projects are meeting deadlines and focused on the right activities.
Research trends of products and trends in the industry.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Works with PMO to manage the progress of projects by tracking activity, resolving issues, and recommending actions
Provides management with regular updates on deliverable timeline and product roadmap.
Conduct Customer Journey Mapping sessions to gain insights into consumer needs and in response prioritizes components into the product roadmap
Responds proactively to both business and project issues and escalates appropriately
Tracks progress and measures product impact to drive successful business outcomes
Coach junior team members
Cross-functional relationship management and support
Manage project teams but won't have direct reports
Able to motivate and engage team members by aligning their strengths and building capability.
Knowledge Sharing / Documentation:
Contribute to, produce and maintain processes, procedures, operational documentation as well as drive continual improvement initiatives
Train new staff in technical processes and procedures

Location: Washington DC metro area is preferred but remote will also work for the right candidate
To be considered for this role, there are certain qualifications you'll have to have. And others that would be really, really nice.
Education (degree): Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, or related technical discipline
Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years of cybersecurity or technical product management related experience; Experience working for a managed security services provider is highly desirable
Expert level in Powerpoint. Otherwise proficient in Microsoft Office;
