Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to supervise, train, mentor, and coach IP Video Specialists as well as interview and screen potential applicants. Recommend and implement personnel actions.
Create, update, and maintain training manuals, documents, and departmental metrics to ensure department is running efficiently.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to budget and timeline constraints.
Responsible to proactively collaborate with other department heads and/or managers when issues arise as well as other functional area issues in order to mitigate customer service issues and put into place processes or procedures for future.
Responsible to oversee and manage the configuration, testing, and operational support process for IP Video initiatives and other related products.
Be the subject matter expert in IP Video, and other products.
Develop and provide regular reporting on IP Video activity and product performance.
Support internal departments as needed in troubleshooting issues that arise.
Review customer requirements and create configuration recommendations that will be used to build proposals for prospects.
Responsible for special projects and other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
At least 2 years of supervisory experience
Experience with IP CCTV configuration and installation OR product innovation experience
Strong communication skills and ability to develop and deliver effective training programs in a professional atmosphere required.
Position is considered sedentary and requires extended periods of PC exposure. Position will require lifting and moving equipment weighing up to 100lbs. Overnight travel is a possibility, but would be infrequent.
