Role Summary

This position is responsible for the management and continuous improvement of Church and Dwight's product data change process and supporting business processes to support all products manufactured in the U.S. The role has responsibility for working closely with functional groups to ensure that product change request and orders are analyzed, controlled and any required changes communicated in a timely, accurate manner, as dictated by standard operating procedures and guidelines within the functions and businesses supported.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Identifies areas of data/business process weakness and lead continuous improvement activities

  • Contribute to overall PLM systems & data strategy for Operating Support, Expansion Planning, Training and Adoption

  • Define and maintain PLM data governance, auditing, & quality policy

  • Responsible for personnel management: ensures performance management and career development activities are completed

  • Conducts resource reviews, plans, sets priorities, assigns, and monitors workload

  • Define, develop, and communicate PLM process changes and system enhancements.

  • Develop key performance metrics, reporting, & analytics capabilities, implement, and set continuous improvement agenda for change process

  • Engagement with the acquisition team for alignment/timing of Bill of Materials, materials, and specification conversion as well as assisting with Freeze schedule determination and working with Supply Chain segment of EDM.

  • Conducts regularly scheduled meetings with International R&D offices to streamline process and communication where PLM has not been implemented.

Education and Experience

  • At least 5-7 yrs experience preferred in at least one of the following: product life cycle / data management / specification systems

  • Minimum BS degree or equivalent experience, Science degree preferred

  • Experience in a Research & Development, Quality, or Manufacturing environment

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Skills and Competencies

  • Priority setting, organization, and project management skills. (timelines, coordination, results driven)

  • Strong attention to detail with optimal organizational skills; focus on teamwork and follow-up.

  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects against deadlines

  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups

  • Experience with PDM/PLM tools, preference with Agile9 experience

  • Strong Computer skills (MS suite, networked environment)

Responsibilities: * Align with key customer MDM stakeholders across IT and Business to establish a strong MDM program * Evaluate how customers manage their Veeva Network investment & identify efficiency and effectiveness gains * Promote awareness of the latest innovations Veeva is releasing * Providing Veeva Network program/release management best practices * Increase the ROI customers get from Veeva Network * Be a customer advocate for ongoing product innovation Requirements * Experience related to Master Data Management, Data Warehousing, Customer Success, or CRM * Proven track record as a trusted advisor to clients * Ability to communicate technical information with business relevance to both technical and business audiences * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong analytical skills.
