Responsible for the manufacture of quality products (product batches and blow molded bottles) in a safe and cost-effective environment on multiple shifts to meet the production plan. As area manager, ensuring effective employee relations and compliance to cGMP, other regulatory, and business requirements, as well as EH&S standards.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Accountabilities

  • Assure compliance with GMP, corporate and other regulatory standards for quality and safety for all areas of responsibility.

  • Develop, implement and monitor procedures for processing raw material into batches & bottles, including testing, cleanup and storage.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures GMP's are used and followed during production of products so that all FDA and international regulations are met. Responds to internal/external audit observations.

  • Lead RCA for any upset condition regarding safety, quality, service, and/or cost.

  • Promotes a positive work environment by effectively administering Human Resources policies and procedures including Performance Management and by communicating information to employees and responding to their concerns.

  • Ensures proper documentation practices are maintained consistently to company standards in manufacturing documents, training documentation, production logs, etc.

  • Generates reports for deviations, assists in the investigations, and recommends/implements solutions to resolve deviations. Approves deviation investigations as appropriate.

  • Authors, reviews, and approves Standard Operating Procedures and other documents to ensure integration of cGMPs and improve process efficiencies.

  • Promotes and encourages continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, production, and safety through the use of team driven processes and key performance indicators and recognition and rewarding high performance.

  • Assure compliance with GMP, corporate and other regulatory standards for quality and safety of all areas of responsibility. Responds to internal and external audit observations.

  • Plan and implement batch processing and line changeovers meeting business demands per the production schedule.

  • Plan and implement bottle production to meet business demands per the production schedule. • Develop, analyze and communicate relevant reports for areas of responsibility.

  • Develop the skills of subordinates to their fullest potential.

  • Lead or participate on cross-functional teams to support corporate/departmental goals.

  • Develop and administer assigned corporate plans such as budgets.

  • Perform a variety of personnel related activities such as hiring, training, appraising, communicating and salary changes.

  • Perform other related duties as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU WILL BRING:

  • BA/BS degree

  • Minimum of seven years of related experience including three years of managerial experience.

  • Lean Manufacturing Training, understanding and execution of Lean Principles.
