Job Description:

Manage a team of engineers and technicians that provide production and project support for production applications and systems. Administer project plans, schedules, and budgets.

Facilitate and attend meetings. Assign objectives, conduct performance reviews, and set development plans. Ensure that SOPs required for application operation and maintenance are prepared and followed.

Interacts with engineering and production teams to identify and analyze continuous process improvements. Directs engineering projects that have significant business impact. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex systems issues related to automated equipment and processes; specifically SCADA and manufacturing applications.

Responsible for leading a department that supports Manufacturing, QA, and Engineering processes/systems and includes: SAP, shop floor systems, SCADA, Document Management, and Reporting Systems.

Develop skilled workforce able to install, and modify sophisticated computerized systems. Including regular upgrading of staff as technology changes. Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel, providing technical advice and resolution of problems to ensure project progresses within prescribed parameters.

Responsible for quality and management of major projects or programs. Direct site technical support functions including Engineering and support functions. Capital and expense budgeting control activities.

Responsible for safety in design, installation timing and operation of new computer systems. Stay abreast of technology changes between Alcon manufacturing sites.

The Headlines: In the role of Sr. Process Safety Manager working in Fort Worth, TX, you will be part of the Utilties Team in Brewery Operations. You will promote a strong process safety culture by providing expertise and leadership. You will deliver compliance expectatiion and drive the brewery process safety management program to world class standards. You will lead the development and administration of a process safety and risk management planning program, including industrial safety, occupational health and safety, fire protection, process hazard analysis, management of change, and evacuation planning and environmental hazard communication. This position reports to the Unit Manager - Utilities and works closely with the Environmental & Sustainability Engineer and the utilities department.
