We aim to generate a coordinated and high-functioning health care ecosystem to support seniors with serious mental illness and substance use disorders.
We are seeking a Manager for Primary Care Engagement to work within Market Operations to help support our Primary Care partnerships and market expansion. A successful teammate will understand the complex health care and social services system for people with mental health conditions, and will be comfortable interfacing with leadership, doctors, administrators, and local organizations in support of partnership management and patient care.
Our team is hard working and genuinely dedicated to helping to improve the lives of people with mental health conditions, and we are excited to welcome a Market Engagement Manager to help manage our market expansion with Primary Care Providers and healthcare ecosystem to maximize our impact on whole-person patient care.
WHAT IS YOUR SUPER POWER:
Lead market implementation efforts with primary care provider groups, managing multiple simultaneous workstreams across areas such as technology integration, communication, and training strategy
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key external partners including Primary Care Providers (PCPs), clinic management and operational staff, and other enablers of behavioral health care
Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, other health care providers, skilled nursing facilities, community-based organizations, faith-based organizations and other entities for collaboration and coordination with Author Health
Develop workflows and mechanisms for tracking proactive outreach for engagement in care and maximize those interventions that are most impactful for patients and caregivers. Work with partners across the care continuum on processes for collaboration in support of patient engagement
Lead pilot projects for identifying opportunities for process improvement, from identification of opportunities through to execution and analysis
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the Texas market, helping to inform internal processes, policies, and procedures, as well as external best practices across our partnerships
Lead touch points and communication with PCP clinics and their staff to facilitate collaboration and partnership. Identify areas of opportunity for additional communication across internal and external stakeholders
Support Market Operations with internal clinical and business functions including marketing, process development, implementation strategy, and other business needs
Develop and lead trainings and presentations for a variety of clinical and business audiences
Interpret and manipulate data, and create action plans based on findings
Own the development and maintenance of the Implementation Playbook, rollout plan, site visit tracker, and other market mapping efforts with primary care providers
WHAT WE ARE SEEKING:
3+ years of healthcare experience required, within behavioral health and/or primary care preferred, OR 2+ years of healthcare experience with Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Social Work, Business, Marketing, or related degree required
Additional experience in sales, healthcare sales, customer success, customer experience, or project management
Bilingual (Spanish-English) or (Haitian Creole-English) strongly preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Deep understanding of the Texas healthcare market, including Primary Care entities
Sales or other experience articulating the value of services to encourage people to use or engage with a product or service
Demonstrated track record for creativity and thinking outside of the box to help address barriers in processes or client engagement
Experience working on a multidisciplinary team with clinicians and non-clinicians, patient facing caregivers and external organizational leadership
Experienced public speaker, skilled at written and verbal communication
Organized and structured thinker with the ability to influence and communicate with all levels of the organization, internal and external partners
Comfortable working in a start-up environment, adapting to priorities and demonstrating positive change management skills
Must be willing to travel within Houston, TX and surrounding cities up to a 100 miles radius, if needed.
