What will I be doing?

Are you a retail veteran and fascinated by consumer shopping behavior? Are you skilled at adapting global brand marketing campaigns to a regional level with the consumer always top of mind? If this sounds like you, then you could be the newest member of the Hilton Global Enterprise Marketing team as the Manager, Portfolio Retail Marketing. You will take a lead role in cascading global brand campaigns into connected promotional marketing that support key travel periods and seasonal business needs. Working closely with the Americas marketing organization and counterparts in EMEA and APAC, you will craft solutions to adapt these global messages for regional needs and manage the implementation across our owned digital channels, paid media, PR and communications teams. We will count on you to create impactful strategies that target consumers with meaningful offers, content, and a compelling value proposition that not only achieves the goals of the Americas region, but also aligns with the overarching Global Enterprise Brand strategy.

More specifically, you will:

  • Lead overall marketing and creative strategy and craft comprehensive cross multi-channel plans to support the business objectives of key destinations throughout the US, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

  • Understand consumer shopping behavior and how the consumer interacts and seeks out information on a product from initial point of interest to point of purchase and how it translates into a digital environment.

  • Brief creative agency or internal creative services group on strategy and handle the development of destination campaign assets.

  • Be a collaborative partner in the media briefing process, advising on integration and optimization with the enterprise media plan.

  • Lead conversation with key partners (Email, Personalization, eCommerce, Brand Marketing, Digital Analytics, Corporate Communications, Product and Regional Marketing, Third Party Marketing, HRCC) to ensure channel plans support activity and alignment with marketing strategy and defined objectives.

  • Manage budget for creative development with internal creative services group and/or agency.

  • Track and optimize marketing plans and strategy based on campaign reporting and performance.

  • Lead Enterprise flash sales, integrating destination sales into the Enterprise plan, Enterprise/Americas collaboration with EMEA and APAC.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of three (3) years of marketing experience OR a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of five (5) years of marketing experience

  • Experience working in a role with both global brand marketing and regional alignment

  • Deep understanding of consumer shopping behavior through the lens of marketing

This team is responsible for quantitative analytics to support SF Pricing, Costing and CRT functions that are central to improving Freddie Mac's profitability, market share and economic capital exposure. The Portfolio Performance Analytics Manager will be a fully integrated member of the team, primarily focused on quantitative analysis, to improve SF profitability, Costing and supporting CRT strategies. Your work falls into two primary categories: Pricing and Credit Analytics * Works on a variety of SF Pricing, Costing and CRT topics of diverse scope requiring an understanding of business, capital/ROE framework, data, default, prepayment behavior and quantitative methods * Build and maintain prototype quantitative models to test alternative pricing strategies, CRT structures and strategies * Build and maintain analytical platforms/dashboards and integrate those with corporate BigData platforms to broader access and use * Work closely with CRT desks to provide quantitative inputs supporting these interactions with dealers/clients/rating agencies * Understand and execute various internal corporate models and cashflow modeling tools to support SF costing and CRT tasks * Summarizing analytical insights and communicating those to management * Support quarterly/annual disclosures related to DFAST, Single Family loan-level dataset related tasks Stakeholder Management * Partner with various internal stakeholders such 2nd line, finance, internal capital and modeling teams over a range of projects * Areas of focus are varied and may include supporting new products and offerings, evaluating potential changes in credit and pricing terms, optimizing risk-transfer structures and features, building/innovating analytical approaches where existing models are not sufficient, enhancing analytical and query tools for quantitative and non-quantitative users, and helping to identify competitive differences and opportunities * Typically 5-10 years of experience in monitoring and analyzing mortgage market credit information * Degree in quantitative majors; advanced studies/degree preferred * Significant, in-depth knowledge of mortgage credit and prepayment valuation, modeling and risks. * Familiarity with business applications of quantitative models * Familiarity with Fixed income/Structured products and cashflows * Ability to do quantitative work with statistical packages such as SAS, R/RShiny * Experience communicating quantitative results to senior business partners * Flexibility and versatility Key to success in this role * Knowledge of Freddie Mac operations and secondary mortgage market * Understands credit and finance processes * Strong customer service skills Top 3 Personal Competencies to possess * Customer Focus - Personally engage with customers (clients) to learn and deliver on their needs * Seek and Embrace Change - Receive and provide constructive feedback with positive intent * Drive for Execution - Treat obstacles as challenges to overcome, not excuses * Advanced degree in a quantitative field, such as Economics, Statistics, Math, Finance, Physics or other * Experience working cross functionally, understanding business needs as well as risk management imperatives * Exceptional quantitative, analytical and communication skills Today, Freddie Mac makes home possible for one in four home borrowers and is one of the largest sources of financing for multifamily housing.
