The platform will improve advertisers' ability to use audience-defining insights from hundreds of data sources to find and communicate with their consumers across all media. [m]Platform is GroupM's internal integrated marketing technology suite that empowers clients to leverage the industry's most robust collection of consumer and media intelligence for smarter planning, activation, and media measurement.

As a Manager of Platform Solutions, you will play a significant part in making [m]PLATFORM a success across clients in the North American region. Reporting to the Director of Platform Solutions, you will hit the ground running and your entrepreneurial spirit will help tackle a variety of challenges of both technical and political nature.

You will drive platform adoption and act as a subject matter expert and evangelist for the platform and data utilisation. This interdisciplinary role will have you work and build relationships with regional key stakeholders. Working closely with various teams requires a diverse skill-set including ad operations, optimisation, audience targeting, analytics, client engagement and knowledge about the digital advertising landscape.

As part of the Global Product & Engineering department you will act as Sales Engineer and Technical Consultant both internally and externally, as well as Gatekeeper to the engineering teams. Your expertise will aid and guide the Platform Services and Platform Support teams.

The role is located in New York but 30% of time is expected to be spent on business travel within North America

In 3 months, you would:

  • Gain understanding of the unique [m]PLATFORM proposition and technology

  • Participate in [m]PLATFORM rollout efforts

  • Establish initial relationship with agency contacts

In 6 months, you would:

  • Gain significant understanding of specific elements of [m]PLATFORM and position yourself as expert trusted resource within the region

  • Rollout [m]PLATFORM across various agency teams

In 12 months, you would:

  • Be a known subject matter expert in all things Platform and Data within GroupM
  • Finish the [m]PLATFORM rollout across all of EMEA
  • Take on additional responsibilities and advance your career in the field of data and technology platforms


  • Play an active role in the regional success of [m]PLATFORM

  • Evangelize [m]PLATFORM capabilities within the GroupM media agencies

  • Become a subject matter expert on key parts of the tech stack and act as consultant both internally and externally

  • Act as escalation points on complex issues for support and services teams and be the inbound communication channel for Global Products department

  • Play an integral part of the rollout of [m]PLATFORM across EMEA

  • Ensure alignment with other technology functions such as Engineering, Operations, etc.

  • Act as Voice of the End-user as part of the product development cycle


  • 5+ years' experience in similar position in Online Advertising or Technology required

  • Knowledge of the online media/advertising marketplace

  • Strong work ethic; desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment

  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work independently is absolutely essential

  • Proven background in building teams

  • Degrees in Math, Science, MIS, Communications, or Computer Science preferred

  • Technical background preferred, experience with HTML, SQL and R Scripting

As a Sr. Product Solutions Engineer, you will be joining our Video Strategy and Product Growth team and acting as the technical expert to ensure a seamless and successful product launch.
