The Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and Penn Medicine Cherry Hill Pharmacy department is looking for a Pharmacy Manager.
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
Managing the provision of pharmaceutical care by pharmacy staff
Assuring a safe, effective and cost-effective use of drugs within both Pharmacy departments
Maintaining patient satisfaction through appropriate provision of pharmaceutical care services
Serving as an appropriate role model by developing respect, confidence and cooperation within the work environment
Identifying competencies required for each patient population that the employee works with (neonate, child, adolescent, young adult, middle adult and older adult)
Providing input for the development of Department of Pharmacy strategic plan and budget (3-year plan that is reviewed annually).
Ensuring Pharmacy performance targets are current
Establishing performance measurement and management systems for key success elements: access, quality, service and value.
Supporting the development of clinical effectiveness targets and strategies annually (part of budget process).
