Position Summary

Superviser, coordinates and reviews the work of direct reports (performance testers, Test technician, Test Engineer, and Hydro testers). Estimates manpower needs and schedules and assigns work to meet completion dates. Verify reports are correct and entered on a timely manner. Initiates and or coordinates quality related data from production and service activities and reports/escalates these data to Engineering and/or Customer

Essential Responsibilities

1.Maintain production and quality standards by effective utilization of personnel, machinery and tools.

  • KEY RESULTS: On time performance, quality product and meeting targeted delinquency levels

2.Resolve testing/machining related problems with Assembly/stockroom shipping, manufacturing engineering, R & D, technical services, order entry, contract administration, marketing and field service.

  • KEY RESULTS: Ensure good working relations between departments In order to maintain efficiency within the department.

3.Work with co-workers and Engineering in the development of workflows, processes and labor reporting for various functions performed in areas of responsibility.

  • KEY RESULTS: Establish and maintain a system that ensures a quality product at the lowest possible cost.

4.Administer company policy and maintain a safe work environment

  • KEY RESULT: Meet targeted goal for safety related accidents And maintain a consistent and fair way of dealing with

Personnel related issues.

5.Participate in studies of manpower and equipment requirements and consult with manager on necessary changes.

  • KEY RESULT: Maintain adequate work force and machine/tooling Capabilities. Keep informed on modern techniques and equipment

6.Promote participation and schedule employee training through internally offers training courses. Also ensure cross training of Testing personnel.

7.Promote good industrial relations, acting as management's Representative with the Bargaining Group employees on the test floors.

  • KEY RESULT: Maintain good working relationship between Management/Union. Strive to resole issues satisfactorily at Shop floor level. (Minimize grievance activity.)

8.Participate in, and be held accountable for, the Assembly Sections Budgeting process.

Position Requirements

Education: AAS Degree or equilvalent

Experience: 5 - 10 Years of Supervisor and Manufacturing Experience

Skills/Knowledges:

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Good motivational skills

Good working knowledge of PC,QA and Engineering

Good understanding of Union Agreement.

Good working knowledge of shop functions

Good Leadership skills

Product Knowledge

Production Coordination skills

Equal Pay Act Range

Annual Salary Range $110,700 to $165,500 plus benefits and incentive plans
