Position Description:

The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Institutional Private Client (IPC) and Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) Performance Team. Our primary goal is to provide exceptional investment performance reporting and client service to our institutional and retail clients' asset managers.

As a manager, you are the face of the quality controls, data governance, reporting deliverables and client service that we provide to our clients every day. You will train and supervise the operation analysts and specialists on the team.

What you'll do:

' Your skills in accounting, finance and performance measurement will be used by analyzing performance results calculated by our core portfolio accounting system. You will also be responsible for reviewing daily data governance checks performed by the performance team analysts to ensure that the components of the performance calculation are accurate.

In addition, you will be leading special projects, such as client conversions, system enhancements and ad-hoc client requests. Essentially, you are responsible for overseeing much of the work being done by performance team members at the analyst level and will often be the main point of contact with the client.

' As a manager, you will be overseeing the coordination and support of various year-end audit engagements in accordance with SEC regulations or the GIPS standards. You will also assist in our annual audit of internal controls, SSAE 16. We need your due-diligence to maintain excellence for our clients.

' You will correspond with external investment managers regarding day-to-day performance issues, month-end composite calculations, ad-hoc client reporting requests and much more. Client engagement and a dedication to quality service is a must for success.

' You will conduct performance appraisals, monthly one-on-ones with the team analysts/specialist and provide career pathing and training. You will also ensure staffing requirements are met by assessing resource requirements, interviewing candidates, and hiring employees. You will provide and foster a team environment to include individual development, promotions and disciplinary action.

What you bring to the table:

' BA / BS in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Data Analytics or equivalent work experience.

' 5 years experience in the fund services industry.

' Minimum of 2 years' supervisory or management experience.

' Strong knowledge of financial, investment industry and/or institutional separate accounts.

' CIPM designation (or working toward) a plus.

' Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Access, SQL or Visual Basic skills a plus.

' The self-motivation and drive to monitor multiple client deliverables without sacrificing excellence or quality.

' Strong written and verbal communication skills as you will primarily support your clients through email and/or phone calls.

' Strong customer service skills as you will be communicating daily with internal and external clients.

Position Description: The Investment Manager Services Unit (IMS) is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Enhanced Middle Office Team supporting Bank Debt. Our primary goal is to provide exceptional middle office services for institutional money managers. The Institutional and Private Client outsourcing team is dedicated to providing front-, middle- and back-office solutions to the investment management industry. The Client Reporting Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful and accurate production of end-client reports on a daily, monthly and quarterly basis for the team's investment management clients. You should possess a proven in-depth understanding of end-client reporting for both institutional and ultra-high-net worth clients in the investment management industry. You should demonstrate strong client service skills to meet or exceed the needs of SEI and our clients You will be responsible for training and supervising client reporting supervisors, specialists and analysts and strictly enforce the departmental policies and procedures required to service investment managers. Primary responsibilities include monitoring, validation and analysis of client reporting data within SEI's investment accounting, performance measurement, trade settlement, end-client billing and data warehouse applications, problem-solving by researching activity and interacting with a variety of clients, custodians and system vendors and developing and documenting client reporting workflows and procedures. The position requires the ability to work in a very fast-paced environment while meeting all daily, monthly and quarterly deadlines; excellent communication and computer skills. You will have experience in the investment management industry dealing with multiple asset classes, including a wide array of derivative instruments, in a global environment. Experience with the Advent suite of software products is a plus. What you'll do: ' You will monitor client-directed service-level agreements as they pertain to end-client reporting ' You will communicate clearly and concisely in a timely fashion to the middle office client service team, the middle office management team and other team members ' You will ensure quality and accuracy of daily, monthly and quarterly end-client reports, as well as those for specific periods ' You will ensure all established daily client reporting processing, procedures and controls are completed accurately and timely; where possible, exceed deadlines ' You will develop, create and document client implementation and operational day-to-day policies and, workflows and procedures ' You will train and supervise supervisors, specialists and analysts on systems, processing, procedures and job responsibilities ' You will review and approve daily work performed by client reporting supervisors, specialists and analysts ' You will review, approve and assist with preparation of month-end valuations ' You will conduct problem and error resolution on a timely basis (with documentation) ' You will coordinate activities (enhancements / fixes etc.) with the middle office team's internal QA group and with the Solutions team ' You will ensure adequate user testing of and preparation for all technology upgrades, coordinating with the middle office team's internal QA group ' You will understand all technical issues associated with end-client reporting in the investment management industry ' You will maintain a good working relationship with external clients as well as with internal relationship and account managers ' You will partner with solution design and technology teams on build-out of operational platform ' You will provide leadership to the assigned operational team members as well as other core middle-office team members; this includes (but is not limited to) training and coaching on general investment management topics, investment accounting, client reporting and general management skills ' You will design and implement an on-going enhancement of operational risk management metrics and measurements ' You will manage, train and coach a team to meet client daily deliverables ' You will communicate with appropriate internal teams or client teams if necessary to resolve open issues or questions ' You will lead process improvement initiatives ' Extensive knowledge of the financial services industry, security markets and investment types ' Strong working knowledge of industry trends and regulatory environment.
