Manager, PEO State Unemployment Insurance Services

Overview Manages day-to-day operations of PEO State Unemployment Insurance Services department. Responsibilities Manages employees in all aspects of State Unemployment Insurance activities; monitors work flow to ensure that established processing time frames, productivity and accuracy standards are met.

Prepares multi year SUI projections, suggests client rate changes, manages entity stratification, and reviews state tax agency changes to maximize the companies SUI profitability. Monitors other tax profit buckets (i.e. Section 125 FICA savings, FUTA Title XII loans, etc). Monitors new client performance, issues annual preferred entity list to assist new clients to appropriate entities, and develops new client strategies to maintain proper profitability.

Participates in overall HR Services Organization strategies for new product, employee/client retention, and basic service expectations to ensure that departmental goals are established. Collaborates with business partners including HR Services, Sales, and Operations to ensure that departmental needs are represented appropriately. Assists in diligence process and structure of PEO acquisitions and mergers Recruits, selects, hires, and evaluates performance of personnel to ensure that all departmental needs are handled appropriately.

Counsels and develops staff for personal and corporate advancement through career development, training programs, and other resources. Qualifications Associate's Degree - Preferred 2 years of experience in Supervisory experience. PRISM Experience Compensation In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $110,000.00 - $135,000.00 salary.

Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
